Tanish POV:-

After our parents left, I come towards her and sit beside her on the bed.

I took her hand and feel hot. Teja has having a high fever.

I stood up and left to come downstairs.

I come to the kitchen and, said " Aunt Preeti? "

Aunt Preeti is our chef who is in her 50s. She loves to cook for us.

I am telling you she makes it very delicious.

She has deep black eyes, deep black curly hair, and 5 feet height.

She turns to me with a smile. Even in her old age, she looks beautiful.

" Yes, dear, do you need something? " She asked.

" Yes, can you make porridge? Fast? " I asked.

" Yes, dear, why not? You come 10 minutes later for porridge. " She replied.

" Okay!! " I said and then left.

I come to my room and go to the bathroom. I took a bowl, filled it with water.

I took a towel with me and put it in the bowl.

I come to the room and put the bowl on the side table.

I took out the towel from the bowl and twisted it so that additional water comes out.

I put the towel on her forehead.

I repeat this process till her temperature falls.

Then, I put the towel on the side table and come downstairs.

I took the bowl of porridge with me and came back to my room.

I moved her by the shoulder and said, " Teja, wake up. Please, eat something. So, you can get some energy and medicine. "

She opened her eyes.

Her eyes made me heartbreak. Her eyes don't shine like always.

It looks so weak, dull, off-white without any shine.

She is trying to sit but, because of weakness, she is not able to do it.

I help her to sit and put cushions behind her back for support.

She is looking at me with confusion while biting her soft pale lips, trying to find my objective.

" I am helping you because you are a valuable person to me. " I said and, she is looking at me with wide eyes and a perfect "O" shape.

She is an open book to me to read easily. Her expressions tell me everything she thinks.

But, still, sometimes, she becomes a mystery to me that I want to solve. Like, why doesn't she open to our friends? Why is maintaining a distance from every male except our male classmates?

I come back to my senses and give her the bowl of porridge.

She tries to take it from me but, her hands are trembling.

I didn't give the bowl and filled the spoon with porridge, put it in front of her mouth.

She looks at me and, with a sigh, she eats it.

" Why are you so good to me, now? " She asked.

I put the spoon in front of her mouth.
