Chapter 64- Leaving!!!

Teja POV:-

I took a deep breath and wait for the doctor to tell us about the reports.

I saw everyone held their breath.

" Teja, your reports are not well, but you are lucky that you have a chance to recover, but for now, you have to stay here in the hospital for two months under observation. " Doctor confessed, and I sighed in relief.

Everyone yelped in excitement, and the doctor smile and came toward me.

" Happy birthday, dear. " Doctor wished me and kissed my forehead.

" Thank you!!! Thank you so much, doctor!!! " I said while I let my tears fall from my eyes.

" But you will not try to pressure on your legs, or else I have to tie them. Do you understand? " The doctor said in his fake anger, and I nodded with a smile.

" Alright, now I have a gift for you. " Doctor said, and I look at him curiously.

He took out something from his pockets and gave me, which is a pen.

That pen looks expensive, and I look at him with confusion.

" I know you want to become a doctor. Till I am here, I can become your first mentor. That gift is from your first mentor, who never let you forget your goals. You have to promise me you will use it when you become a doctor. " The doctor explained, and I nodded with a smile.

" I promise you. " I said and hugged my first mentor.

He stroked my hair and sighed in relief.

I am so happy today now I can live a new life.

Two months later:-

Teja POV:-

I am so happy and nervous today.

I am happy because I am discharging today.

Uncle Raj took care of the expenses, but it helped me improve.

My first mentor taught me lots of things about the medical world, and I am confident that his help made me achieve my wishes.

I am nervous that I have to go to school for the last time. I have taken my result report from school.

Today Akaash and I are leaving for our college.

Akaash parent's and siblings do not come with him to the airport as they have some important works.

I know he is feeling terrible, but we are best friends.

My legs are improving now, but the doctor told me not to stand up on my feet as I am still weak.

He told me after 1.5 years course.

I can run with the help of my legs.

I can't wait for that day.

Mom, Bubbly, and Akaash are helping me by encouraging me.

" Teja, did you took everything? " I heard my mom's voice.

I turned the wheelchair and saw mom, bubbly, dad, and grandma.

When they found out about me going to Australia for my studies, they called me names and fight with my mom. But uncle Raj had handled them with his sharp tongue.

They are not liking about me leaving.

They are standing in front of me, showing their fake worry. I scoffed internally.
