Chapter 4

Rhys~

I was still frustrated with Mor and Celeana lying, They didn't even try to hide it!

"I know that they knew what we were talking about" I complained to Feyre "I'm sure Mor had a good reason to hide it from us" Feyre reminded me.

We sat and talked for a while and Mor and Celeana remained in the library finally after a few hours the two of them came in and sat in a corner whispering to each other.

Then Celeana jumped up and pointed at me "I remember you" she shouted Mor looked up hopeful but Celeana quickly said "not like that" and Mor's face fell.

"How could you remember me if you've never been here before" I ask "well i never touched ground but you slowed me down after when i was world traveling" she said "That was you" I question she nods her head "but how did you travel worlds" Feyre askes her "see that wasn't on purpose" she admitted.

"What were you doing when you traveled worlds?" Armen questions "I don't know" Celeana says the lie sliding right off her tongue, I almost believed her but there was a second of hesitation before she answered but I let it slide.

There was something about this girl that I didn't like; she had this sense of cockyness around her.

But I was not expecting her to come and ask me "do you spar" I must have looked lost because she said it again "I said do you spar" she asked getting impatient "I do but I wouldn't want to spar against you and accidentally hurt you" I told her.

She just laughed and said "trust me I would be fine, and it's not like you could land many good blows on me anyway".

I was furious, I wouldn't let a human insult me, I probably shouldn't have agreed to a duel but I let my anger cloud my judgement.

So I led her to the training room and the rest of the court followed close behind wearing worried expressions on their face, except for Mor she was smirking as if she knew something the rest of us didn't.

When we got to the room she walked over to the weapons and began testing them out, she grabbed some daggers and threw them up and caught them.

I was impressed by her knowledge of weapons but it still wouldn't be enough to beat me.

As we both walked into the ring she leaned into me and whispered "i don't lose" "well you better prepare yourself to lose because i always win" i responded then Mor yelled "go".

We started to circle each other waiting for the first person to make a move.

I lunged at her but she quickly sidestepped it and hit me with the blunt end of the sword in the side, I yelled out in pain but quickly regained my balance and cut her in the leg with my sword but she didn't even seem to notice it went on like this for a while and i was starting to lose ground so I used my magic to shoot red arrows at her but she dodged them easily.

Soon i was on the floor pinned with a knife against my neck so i used my magic to push her off, she came close and whispered like i said i don't lose.

It all happened so fast something changed in her then the ring was covered in fire blocking the rest of the court from seeing what was going on.

She pinned me on the ground again but this time her hands burned "yield" she threatened I said nothing "she just stood there waiting for me to yield she knew she had won finally i yelled and she helped me up and brought the fire down.

Everyone started to yell at her but she was shaking "bring me to the middle of nowhere make sure there is no one i can hurt" she her voice wavering.

We all just stood there in shock till Mor yelled "what are you doing standing around help her" we all jumped into action.
