Part Eleven

Steves POV

A month after Harper's nightmare

"Suit up we're leaving in ten" Steve commanded his voice slightly louder to make sure everyone heard. Everyone scattered making their way to their room to suit up and get ready before heading down to the armour to grab their weapons.

Obviously Cap grabbed his shield, Natasha had guns in her holsters, Her black widow bites in her suit of course and batons. Thor was his hammer of course, Tony's suit was luckily already in the Quinjet ready for him to use once they landed. Wanda didn't need weapons, Vision didn't either as he basically was the weapon. Peter had everything built into his new suit that Tony made for him. Bruce just needed to transform once they arrived and Bucky well he has the metal arm you know. But he also equipped himself with a gun incase.

"Tony, a minute" Tony turned to look at you wondering why you wanted to talk to him. "Harper? She's going to be okay alone here?" Tony laughed rolling his eyes "she's not alone. She's just not in the battle. I've already told her that she can go down with Fury and Maria and help out down their but that's as far as she gets for now"

All of the group now knew about what happened to Harper on her mission and why she would be sitting out a next few mission. Someone of them where shocked and other had guessed that something wasn't quite right.

"Ok, I'll get fury tonight keep an eye on her" Tony nodded walking away to his room to change out of the suit he was wearing. You headed down to the control room being greeted by both Fury and Maria. "Okay the missions. Basically there's an extreme energy source coming from one of the building buildings n the outskirts of New York. We need you and the team to storm it find them energy source and either destroy it or find out what it is and if it's useful. We are unsure of what it is or if there's people guarding it or whatever which is why we need the full team to go in" Fury explained the mission to you.

"Okay so find and extract the energy source?" You question making it slightly more simple "basically"

"Great thanks anything else we need to know" Maria shook her head "we know nothing about it which is again why we are sending in the full team"

"Okay, keep in touch if you'd find anything we will do the same" You thanked both of them before leaving and heading out to the Quinjet where most of the team where already set up. "Where's Tony?" You question looking around to see who you where missing realising you where missing Tony and Nat "and Natasha?"

Everyone shook their head not knowing where they both where. Steve sat in his seat on the Quinjet waiting impatiently

Meanwhile

"Your sure your going to be okay?" Tony asked for the 8th time and Harper groaned replying to him "T I'll be fine it's one mission, honestly just go" you shoved him towards the door "hey what about her I don't see you shoving her out" he pointed at Natasha who stood waiting for tony to leave with a smirk on her face.

"Because she's my girlfriend and you my brother. Now give us a moment she will join you in a second" Tony rolled his eyes shutting the door behind him and waited for Nat in the hall way.

Natasha made her way over to you wrapping her arms round your waist giving it a small squeeze. "I'll be back soon" She whispered placing a small kiss on harpers lips she sighed into it wishing that she would be joining the avengers but knew that she had to come first.

"You better be" Harpers hands grasped at Natasha's face her thumb gently creasing the redheads cheek. "I love you be safe"  She whispered pecking her girlfriends lips but Nat held the kiss for a few extra seconds before resting her head against the blondes. "I love you too"
