Natasha's POV
You pulled up to the compound. Peter had woke up a few minutes before you turned into the compound which you where glad for. Harper on the other hand was gone, there was no way you where waking her up. After parking the car Peter got out asking you if you needed any help with you denied.
You made your way round to Harper's side of the car, undoing her seatbelt and gently lifting her out the car and into your arms shutting the door with your foot.
You carried her into the compound. Peter held the door open for you. "Thanks kid" it was late when yous got back. About half eleven. Peter went away to bed and you made your way down the corridor aswell. Opening up Harper's bedroom door and placing the woman on the bed.
You shut the door and grabbed the PJs that where left under her pillow. You where able to change her into her PJs without waking her up. You tucked her into bed and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight my love"
You left her to sleep and made your way out her room and back down towards the kitchen to get yourself a glass of water but you where stopped dead in your tracks when you heard sniffles from the livingroom. You poked your head in to see Wanda sitting on the couch herself. A pillow held tightly in her arms and she cried into it.
You slowly made your way into the room, "Wanda, what's wrong" you asked getting closer to her taking a seat on the opposite side of the couch. Her head lifted from the pillow and her face was stained with her mascara and her make up was smudged. "V-vision. W-e We broke up" she sobbed into the pillow. You mouth dropped open. That was so unexpected.
You scoot over closer to her. "Wanda oh my god. I'm so sorry" she looks up at you with teary eyes and just falls into you. You hold her close to you. Letting her have her moment. Break ups where never easy especially unexpected ones.
"I'm so sorry" you whisper holding her tightly her face buried into your chest. Her make up sinking into your white shirt. You mentally curse knowing that won't come out but suck it up for Wanda.
Once she finally came around her tears slowly fading as she gasped for air. You carefully let her go watching her sit back up in her place on the couch.
"What happened Wanda?" You asked watching the womans every move."I have no idea Nat. He he just told me after dinner he wanted to break up and here I am. Crying on the couch by myself like a loser" You shake your head, "Wanda your not a loser, your heartbroken and in shock." Wanda sighs and you took a breath through your nose taking in the strong smell of liquor.
"Have you been drinking?" You question and Wanda nods. You get up off the couch looking behind the couch to see two empty bottles of wine. "Shit" you whisper under your breath.
Wanda wasn't the best at controlling her powers when she was 1. Under the influence or 2. Upset. So this was a big problem. "Hey why don't we get you to bed. We can talk about it in the morning?" Wanda sniffed wiping away a tear from her eyes and nodded.
Luckily she wasn't to bad so she was easy to get to bed. She stumbled a little while walking but you managed to get her into her room and into bed. As you where about to leave she calls your name "Nat?"
"Yes Wanda" you turn back around to face her. "Thank you" you can't help but let a small smile creep onto your lips. "Anytime Wands. Now get some sleep"
You close the bedroom door heading back into the livingroom to get rid of the empty bottles of wine. And into the kitchen to get yourself that bottle of water.
After getting back into Harper's room, you stripped down throwing your jacket and other clothes onto the floor. Grabbing a pair of shorts from Harper's drawer and a sweatshirt. After getting dressed you carefully climbed into bed. Trying not to wake Harper but as soon as you got in her arms wrap around your waist and her voice was raspy.
