Harper's POV

The next morning I awoke, the bed was cold. My eyes opened and I was met with an empty bed. My true source of heat was gone. I got out of the bed and threw on a hoodie, the house was pretty cold this morning even the wooden floor boards where making your toes cold, some socks were needed.

You picked up a sweater that was leaning against the end of the bed and threw it on before pulling out a fresh pair of socks and pulling them over your cold feet. You peaked into the bathroom seeing if Natasha was maybe having a shower to brushing her teeth but she was not there.

You had a feeling you knew where she was, creeping downstairs as quickly as you could you saw Nat swaying to some music that was quietly playing on the radio, her back turned to you as she was standing over the stove cooking what smelled like bacon.

You smiled sweetly at the sight and made your way over wrapping your arms around her waist she jumper slightly at the touch before eased into it and leaned against you. "The bed was cold without you" you whispered loving the warmth feeling again after holding her for a minute.

"What you making?" You asked closing your eyes and breathing in her scent. "Bacon, eggs and pancakes" she replied also enjoying the feeling of being in your arms. Every now and then she would move her arm and turn the bacon over or flip a pancake.

"Something smells good" you heard noises behind you and turned to see Lila and Cooper smiling brightly at you both. "Morning guys" you smiled carefully letting go of your girlfriend and walking over to hug them. "Where's Nathanial?" Lila and Cooper shrugged and took a seat at the kitchen table.

You headed back up stairs and quietly opened Nathanial bedroom door to see him still asleep in his racecar bed. You couldn't help but grin, making your way over to the bed you tripped over a small toy car but was luckily able to save yourself from falling but that didn't stop the young boy from wakening up.

"Sorry buddy I didn't mean to scare you" you slightly chuckled leaning down to play with his messy bed head. "Still tired bud?" He nodded closing his eyes again but you knew he had to get up. "Come on bubs, Auntie Natasha's making pancakes" the boy eyes shot back open he didn't feel like walking so he put his arms out to be carried.

You shook your head with a laugh and picked him up and carried him on your hip back downstairs to the kitchen placing him on the chair at the table.

The other two kids already had food and had started eating, Nat placed a plate down infront of the young boy his plate mostly had pancakes on it but also a bit of bacon and a little cup of eggs.

The kids had milk to drink along with there breakfast, Natasha made herself a coffee and me a tea. We sat in silent for a while just the sound of people eating and the crunching of food.

Once the everyone had finished the kids went to go get ready for the day. Lila said she would help Nathanial get ready. Natasha had told them that she would take them to go see a movie at cinema and then out to play some mini golf. Harper found it so cute how Nat was being with the kids.

The two cleaned up everyone before getting ready themselves they had all met downstairs in the livingroom and where ready to set off. Luckily Clint took the jet for him and Laura so Nat and Harper still had the family car.

Everyone piled into the car and off they set. Lila was in the middle while the two boys where on her sides. Cooper on the right staring out the window while Nathanial played about in his car seat.

Natasha was driving of course her eyes mainly staying on the road but every once and a while would glance at Harper or the mirror to look at the kids.
