21 questions

the next day, louis wakes up see birds chirping outside his window, as he walks up to them and opens the window, the two small birds flew inside and started to fly around him as to making as safe aura. that was the moment louis knew it was going to be a good day. 

he soon went to the washroom and got ready for the day. as he walked down the stairs into the dinning room, he saw his mother and sister sitting but his father was no where to be seen. as he sat down on his usual seat beside his sister and wished them good morning, his father entered the room. he greeted his father and went back to eating. "so louis what are you up to for today?" louis nearly chocked on his food because his father never seemed to talk to him after he came out. it was just occasionally or if it was important. his father never even looked his way when he saw that louis being gay wasn't just a 'phase'. louis just started at his father until a loud enough cough to get him out of his gaze was heard. "um i will just go around town to walk for awhile i guess, nothing special, if you don't mind, may i ask why?" he replied politely. "the king of tuneca is coming to visit us and i thought i might introduce you" "oh okay, i will make sure to meet them then" "okay good". 

as louis looked up towards the big clock hanging above his study are if you call it, he sat up as he remembered it was time to go to the treehouse, he didn't have much time thinking about the fact that he was gonna see harry once again, he was quite busy to be honest but still thought about the curly haired boy when he got the chance. he went to his mirror and fixed his quiff, then made his way downstairs. his mother stopped him at the gate giving him a playful glare, she was suspicious as to how louis was in such a good mood that day because all he did at the dining table in the morning was make his sister or father angry by his bad mood. he just shrugged at his mother and made his way past her.

louis was definitely excited to get to know the man that has the spotlight on him from the moment louis' eyes met his. but he was alot more nervous to meet him. he didn't understand why but just shrugged it off and gave a 'fuck it' attitude to his nervousness. when he climbed up the stairs to the treehouse, he saw harry already sitting there deep in thought with a small smile on his face. louis quietly walked up to him and placed his hand on harry's shoulder, getting a shocked expression from harry in return. 

"you f-cking scared me, almost gave me a heart attack there"

"oh my, i didn't realize, i am so sorry" louis said trying to stop laughing

"seriously, it's not funny louis"

"yeah yeah okay, what are you doing by the way"

"just reading another book from my collection"

"oh what's the book about?" louis asked sitting beside him. you see, they didn't treat each other as royality like everyone else did, they just saw a friend in each other and they both were okay with it.

" the book's name is five feet apart and it's about two people with a deadly decease and have a high chance of dying if they come within five feet when near each other, the story has been interesting so far and i quite like it."

"it sure sounds like a great movie" 

harry hums in response and keeps his book aside to talk to the smaller boy. 

"so louis, tell me what is on your mind?" he asks when he sees louis deep in thought

startled by the sudden question, he shrugged and replied, "i was just thinking about this place, i mean it's magnificent. it's really comfortable and cozy" 

"thankyou, hey do you wanna play a game maybe?"

"like what, chess?"

"no silly, i heard children playing this game while taking a walk yesterday and i quite like the idea of this"

"okay then, what is this game?"

"it's called 21 questions, it goes like i will ask you something and then you will, we have to ask 21 questions from each other this way."

"sounds intresting"

"okay, i'll start, what is you full name?" he said after a pause. 

"louis william tomlinson, what's yours'?" 

"harry edward styles" 

"ohh fancy" louis said in a fake posh type accent.

harry laughed at that and continued playing the game until both of them didn't have any questions, they were almost half way done with the game and louis had gotten quite some information about him, apparently, harry was 19, turning 20 in a month, he has a big sister, is the prince of the kingdom of asterin, has never been in love and he's bi. the last point didn't shook louis as much as he thought t because because maybe louis did see it coming. 

on the other hand, harry got to know that louis was 20, he was going to turn 21 in december, has a younger sister, he is the future king of the kingdom of caspian, never been in love and he is gay. harry out of curiosity asked louis, "so tell me something about your parents"

as soon as louis heard that, he went stiff at that moment he really wished he wasn't near harry so that he couldn't feel the stiffness. but as they were sitting like they were tied up to each other, harry felt it. the only thought going on his mind was 'what happened for him to act like this'
