*********** Kova Pov I stepped out of the car, All eyes on me...... Great.
"ok, this is an earpiece you might have to be alone with one of our business partners at one point" Blair handed me a clear earbud.
I shook my head, "fuck that, there is no way in hell I am going to be alone with one of those... Things" I looked at her. she frowned a bit," I know it not ideal and I promise you I will do anything and everything in my power to make sure you don't have to be alone with one of these grease balls, but one of our partners is... Different" she looked around us.
" he's never been seen without his hood on, we think he might take his hood off for you. since your the new attraction of the party and not him" she grabbed my arm and started walking over to a group of men, I lowered my voice as people started mumbling. " and why do you think he's going to take his hood off for me?" she stopped walking.
" because he wanted to buy some of our "products" and he was willing to pay a high price for one of them" she stopped talking, but her face told me all I needed to know, the way she looked down means she agreed to the deal and then she tilted her head meant she wanted to say something else.
The realization hit me as he put a bracelet on me, but I soon realized it wasn't a bracelet. it was a Price tag.
" He wants to buy me" I whispered as I pulled my arm away from her.
" Kova-" I turned and ran from her, I didn't know where I was going but I needed to get out of this place, there was no way in hell I was about to be sold.
"KOVA!" Blair yelled out as I pushed my way through people, " GRAB HER!" I heard an unfamiliar voice yell out after. I turned to see men and women chasing after me, many of them dropping their drinks on the grass and bolting after me. " fuck" I mumbled out as I turned a corner,
Flashback ( 3rd person)
"KOVA RUN!" Eztli screamed as he was pulled back, his little sister running as fast as her little legs could carry her. Her tears were flowing out fast but she refused to make a single sound as she turned corners and cut through back alleys. she didn't know where she was going but she kept running, she turned a corner as everything went black.
END OF FLASHBACK
I turned behind the house kicking the back door open, I ran through the halls as fast as I could hearing the many footsteps follow after me

I turned a corner that led to the front door," shit" I huffed out as I ran up the stairs stopping when a saw a window, I turned my head and looked at a vase that was around the same size as mine. I looked up and saw a deep crimson curtain, I quickly wrapped up the vase and picked it up throwing it out the window. the glass shattering everywhere, I ran into the room beside me.
