•-TAISHIRO'S POV-•
I looked at Amajiki and Kirishima, noticing the odd look on their faces.

"What's up with you kiddos? You seem off."
I heard someone's stomach rumble abruptly. I looked at Kirishima. He sighed and put his hand on his stomach.

"Neither of us has eaten today. I didn't have time to eat breakfast because I woke up late. And I woke up late because I stayed up late with my friends. But, it's all my fault so I'll deal with it until I get back to the dorms." Kirishima balled his hand into a fist. I wasn't sure why he was determined to forcibly starve himself.

"I'm hungry too." Amajiki spoke quietly.
"This is ridiculous! Come on, let's find a nice little place to eat some big meals!" I pumped my fist into the air. Amajiki sighed as people began staring at us.

"I didn't bring any money." Kirishima groaned as he started to pat his stomach.
"Nonsense, young one. I'm paying, as usual. Now, follow me! I smell some good takoyaki already!"

We walked through the streets, some bustling and loud and other quiet and empty.

I followed the smell of takoyaki, finding a small stand selling it. My mouth was watering.
I looked at Kirishima and Amajiki. I looked at the stand again. I sighed and walked on.

" Huh? Why didn't we stop there, Fat? I thought you loved takoyaki?" Kirishima caught up to my side.

I looked at him and smiled. "I just thought we should get a huge meal tonight." Kirishima smiled.

I saw a big glowing sign with a chubby cat eating takoyaki on it. I smiled.

It was cute. The aroma smelled delicious. There was the perfect amount of people in the building. Not enough for Amajiki to feel too uncomfortable but enough to know the food must be good.

I walked into the restaurant, my beloved apprentices by my side. We approached a waiter in the front with pale blue hair and yellow eyes.

"Hello there! I'm Codo, your waiter for tonight. Table for three? I'll get you a booth so everyone can fit!"

Codo led us to a table with two chairs on one side and a booth on the other. He scooted the table out a bit and gesture toward the booth seat. I sat down, barely fitting in the space.

He moved the table a little bit father and pulled out chairs for Amajiki and Kirishima.

They sat down and Codo placed menus in front of all of us. "I'll give you a minute to figure out what you want, unless you're ready. You can order your drinks first."

"We'll need a minute, thanks." Codo smiled and nodded, then walked away.

I looked at Kirishima and Amajiki, who seemed to be a bit happier now.

"What are you guys getting to drink?"
"Do you think they have protein shakes here?" Amajiki stared at Kirishima in disbelief. I chuckled a bit.

"How about you get this electrolyte drink instead, kid." Kirishima looked where I had pointed on the menu. He smiled and nodded.
"I think I'm going to get some black tea."

I tapped my finger on my chin. "I'm gonna get a liter or two of soda I think."

They both stared at me, blinking a few times.
"Will they even let you do that?" Kirishima tilted his head.

I shrugged. "No idea."

Codo came back to our table. "Are you ready to order drinks?"

We all nodded simultaneously. "We'll take a black tea, an electrolyte drink, and a liter of cola please."

Codo stared at me. "A-a whole liter? Let me see if we can, uh, if we can do that."

Codo walked up to who I assumed was the manager. The manager thought for a moment after Codo talked. After a few seconds, the manager nodded and headed into the kitchen.

They surfaced from the kitchen a few minutes later, a liter of soda in their hands. Codo took it and set it on the counter, then told someone else the other drink orders.

I looked back to the manager. They seemed familiar. I kept glancing at them every once in a while. I didn't even notice Kirishima had said something.

"Fat!" I snapped out of my trance and looked at Kirishima. "Y-yeah?" Amajiki and Kirishima both were staring at me. My cheeks grew a little warm in embarrassment.

"Did you hear me? What were you doing?" I stared at him for a moment and blinked. "Well, I just saw someone that I think I know..."
"You think you know them? Who is it?"

I looked at them again, noticing their bright yellow eyes and their (h/c) locks. Y/n. It was them. The person I had a crush on since my first year of high school.

My cheeks grew even a little bit warmer and I quickly turned around.

"The manager? How do you know the manager?" Kirishima and Amajiki both looked between Y/n and I.

"I might have known them throughout high school."

Kirishima smiled brightly. "You should talk to them! What's their name? How'd you meet? Were you good friends?" Amajiki put his hand on Kirishima shoulder. "Calm down, you're shouting and making a scene."

"I uh, knew them very well. Y/n L/n. We were in the same class."
