•-TAISHIRO'S POV-•

I once again felt like a proud dad.

Although this kid probably had a nice family of his own, I felt like the three of us were a little family.

Being Y/n's husband would be amazing. They could cook with me all the time.

They just seem so soft to the touch. I look at them sometimes and all I see is someone I want to hug.

Someone that I've been sort of obsessed with since High School.

Ah, come on Fat.

It probably won't happen.

The closest I'll get to them is now, most likely.

I'm lucky they even considered staying with me.

I shook my head quickly as I broke out of my trance.

I called a noodle place that I visited frequently and ordered a family meal.

There we go with the family thing again.

After I finished the call I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.

I walked in just in time to see Y/n walk out.

I sat down on the love-seat and sighed.

"A family meal's a big step, dude."

"Huh?" I looked up at Codo, a tired smirk spread across his face.

"You're already ordering family meals for the three of us. Family is something they hold close to their heart. You're a lucky son of a gun if they consider you a part of theirs."

I stared at Codo for a moment.

"It's just food."

Codo shrugged.

"I'm just messing with ya."

"Does that mean you're lucky? 'Cause if I'm seeing things right, you just got stabbed."

Codo chuckled a bit, then cringed in pain from moving to much.

"You are right, though. I used to hear Y/n talking to her friends all the time about the day that they find the person they're gonna marry. That's gonna be one lucky person for sure."

Codo smiled as he fidgeted with his hands.

"I just hope that we always have the bond that we do. I don't ever want them to see me as anything but as a son type of figure..."

Codo trailed off into silence for a moment before looking me dead in the eyes, his cocky grin reappearing.

"You seem to really want to get to the center of them, though. Possibly in more than one way?"

I started blushing madly.

Partly because of what he had just said, and partly because I was disappointed that he made me blush.

But I also knew what he said was true. As rude as it may seem to think of someone pervertedly, it did happen once in a while.

I was ashamed that I thought such things about someone that probably forgot I existed for a while.

It was disgusting.

But a thought I seemed to be addicted to.

"Please, uh, don't go saying things to make me all flustered around Y/n. I don't what them gettin' the wrong idea."

"What idea? The idea that you think of them all the time? The idea that you want to see them-"

"Just please be quiet."

Codo snickered and winced a bit more.

•-YOUR POV-•

I can't believe what I just heard.

Codo is such a little shit.

Not only am I profusely flustered, but also left in deep thought.

I quietly rushed back into the guest bedroom and close the door.

Does Taishiro really think of me like that?

Is it wrong that I think of him like that?

How am I not supposed to?

I mean, he's got it all.

A great smile, he's tall, he can be muscular and chubby, and he's a huge sweetheart.

He's also a great cook, a foodie, and a total dad.

He's quite literally the whole package.

Inappropriate thoughts rush into my head as I try to focus on something else.

But, all I can think of is Taishiro wearing nothing or almost nothing, and doing unspeakable things with or to me.

I gently smack my cheeks a few times and take a deep breath.

I then hear the doorbell ring.

Food.

Think about food.

Ah yes, food.

Dumplings, meat buns, candies, takoyaki...

Why did I only think of round food?

•-TAISHIRO'S POV-•

I answered the door after the bell rang.

The noodle guy smiled and greeted me, since we were mutual by now.

His name is Judo and he just graduated high school.

After I brought the food inside and say goodby to Judo, I called for Y/n.

"Hey, Y/n! Food's here!"

"Coming!"

I heard Codo mumble, "Oh you'll be coming alright."

I glared at him as the redness returned to my face.

Luckily Y/n didn't hear him and didn't ask about the shade of my face.

After eating in the living room, sharing stories, and watching TV, we decided Codo would be able to go to sleep.

"There's no way I'm moving from this couch. I ain't getting up unless this house is on fire."

I chuckled a bit and went to fetch him some blankets.

I came back and gave him blankets.

"I'm gonna pop in the shower real quick. I'll be out in a bit."

Codo waved me off as he was sucked into the TV.

•-YOUR POV-•

As Taishiro waked off, I realized that one of the many events of tonight did not include showering.

But, just as I was about to enter the hallway, Codo spoke to me.

"You're great at acting, ya know. Love that bit about pretending you didn't hear us talking about how Taishiro thinks about you."

I stopped dead in my tracks.

"How the hell did you know I heard you?"

"Well, I don't know if you somehow forgot this, but one of the many reasons you were my idol is because we have similar quirks. I'm a 'cat boy', remember?"

Codo must have been referring to the fact that I sometimes call him a cat boy.

This is because he has a cat quirk. Similar to my own, minus the jumping ability and adding some claws and the ability to transform into a large cat-beast.

"Right, right. Well, I'm gonna hop in the shower now so-"

"Nah-ah. Nope. Sit down. You're gonna answer my questions or I'll tell him that you heard us."

I pondered the consequences for a moment before giving in and sitting with a huff.

Codo pauses the TV and folded his hands neatly across his lap.

"Now, how did you two first meet?"
