Chapter 3: The Dream Part 1

-The Next Day-

Sanji's POV -

I open my eyes to see the morning sun shining through the window, I get out of bed and walk onto the ships deck while stretching my arms out.

'It's a bit cold out.' I think looking down at the thin layer of frost covering the deck.

I look up from the ground, but as I do so I get blinded by bright sun stings my eyes, but only for a moment.

Once I regain my vision I look around me and notice that it's unusually calm and quiet.

Usually Luffy would be going on about how he's so hungry and Nami-swan would be yelling at Luffy for being to loud.

But from what I can see there's nothing.

"Weird.....Hmm, Zoro? What the hell's he doing here." I said to myself shielding my eyes from the sun so I can look off to where he was standing.

"Hey! Dumbass, wondered when you'd....what? I can't hear you...." I call out to him, but I guess he can't hear me SHOUTING AT HIM.

'Maybe he's gone deaf, I mean that wouldn't be so bad. At least I won't get to hear him complaining anymore.'

I then decide to walk over to him to hear him better or to shout at him. Which ever one comes first.

When I get close I notice that he's staring at something.

I look on to see what he's looking at and what I see is something I wasn't ever expecting to see. To my absolute horror there was blood everywhere.

All my crew mates and my captain laying face down in their own and others blood. "Di-did you do this?..." I ask looking up to him shaking and backing away.

I get confused cause he hasn't moved yet, I look down to his side. He's holding something, his katana. It has blood all over it. It even got all over him.

He turns to face me, blood dripping from his eyes and nose.

"Z-" He cuts me off by charging at me full force with his sword drawn like he was about to kill something and that something is me.

I quickly respond by running for the stairs leading up to the kitchen. I know that I could never beat him in a fight, he actually has weapons!

Dashing up the stairs and into the kitchen I quickly slam the door shut. 'Shit! This won't do, he cut a fricken mountain in half before!! Who says he won't cut me up into many little-' I think rapidly, but my thoughts were cut short by footsteps gradually getting louder.

Just then I heard pounding at the door, I run behind the counter in the kitchen and cover my mouth to make my breath quieter.

Hearing that door break off it's hinges and fall to the floor was absolutely terrifying. I don't think I've ever been that scared before, I could hear my heartbeat on my ears.

Anyway, the door fell with a deafening thud. Slow heavy footsteps walked into the room, to my utter horror there was a slow sound of a blade scraping on the wooden floorboards.

Just as sudden as it starts it stops, the atmosphere was very heavy and silent. I knew it, I was going to die here and now.

Just then a loud crash causes me to cover my ears and let go of my mouth. That was a huge mistake cause as soon as I did that I let out a tiny squeak.

I felt his presents right behind the counter I was hiding behind.

I slowly look up and see him looking down at me.I honestly acted on impulse, he backed away from the side I was hiding on to the other.

He walked around the counter and stood a few feet away from me.

With my back pressed against the cupboard he lifted his katana so the tip of of it was inches away from my face.

"Why?" Was the only thing I could muster up before his sword came down onto the top of my head.

I bolt up from bed screaming. I woke everyone up, they were all in a panic and looking around to see what caused me to scream like that.

As I try slowing my breathing down I put one of my hands on my chest. I look around to see how many people I woke up.

Usopp looks over from his bunk rubbing his eyes. "Sanji?" A voice calls out.

"Huh?" I reply with my breathing a bit calmer, but still staggered. Just then I see Luffy's head pop out from his top bunk. "Are you okay?" He asks staring at me upside down.

"Yes Sanji are you already? You screamed pretty loud." Brook asks lifting his eye mask from his face.

"Did ya see a bug or somethin?" Usopp asks yawning propping his head up with one of his hands.

"Yeah..." I respond not sure how to put it into words.

"You were talking in your sleep before you woke up." Jimbe states.

"What?" I ask in a quiet voice.

"You are awake right?" Franky asked lifting up his sleeping mask.

"Yeah..." I respond now getting a little confused.

"You sure?" Chppper asked.

"Yes I'm sure." I respond again. 'Do I do this a lot? How many times had this happened??' I get a little embarrassed and blush a little.

"You talk in your sleep a lot." Luffy adds giggling.

I blush a little more. "Sorry about waking all of you up..." I say placing both hands in front of me.

"It's fine, it's not like it's the first time you've done that." Usopp says smirking and turning over to face the wall.

"How often do I do this?" I ask wanting to know how often I talk in my sleep.

"Too many times to count." Brook reply's laying back down too.

I lay back down too and so does whomever is left.

I ended up tossing and turning for a few minutes before falling back asleep.
