CHAPTER 16: Final Exam

Hawk's POV:

I take the elevator since the stairs are blocked off with cameras and motion sensors attached to high powered guns. The elevator stops at the first floor. As the doors open. There sitting on a table is a blindfold and a note.

<this is your final exam. Simply remember everything you learned and put it to use. Once you reach floor twenty-five. Go to the elevator in the back for a straight shot to your  boyfriend. Hurry,  the clock's ticking.>

He's toying with us."

I ball up my fists in anger but soon become calm and confident.

"I'll play by your rules but let touya go!"

I see the cameras and flip him off before putting on the blindfold and follow by his rules. It isn't long before I get to floor twenty. That's when I hear the intercom go off.

* clap....clap...
Clap*

"Great work so far, but Touya's running out of time. I don't think he can take much more."

Dabi's POV:

With every task keigo completes. This basterd puts another chain into my skin and around a staple in my chest and arms. Five are left on my wrists and the pain is getting worse. With floor twenty completed. He adds another.

"HMMMMMH!"

Hawks POV:

His screams of agony make me wanna cry and destroy the world. So I Hurry through and get to the top floor.

Dabi's POV:

Keeper turns off the mic and whispers to me.

"Have you noticed that I haven't been ripping your staples anymore? It's because I wanna give him a sight he'll never forget. So soon as he walks in."

He then rips a paper infront of me. For the first time in years........ I'm afraid.

Hawk's POV:

I take off the blindfold and get to the door. Once I  grasped the knob. It clicks and touya screams of fear echo as I open the door. The sight of him makes me lose composure and cry. That's when his bamboo muzzle falls off.

"I'll always love you keigo takami. So please don't blame yourself for this."

"I'm gonna get you out of this i promise."

"Heh, at least one of us got our dream to come true."

Touya tilts his head up with his eyes closed and smiling as tears rolled down to his chin.

"Please god no."

"Goodbye hawks"

"NOOOO!"

Just as the keeper goes to pull the chains. In a split second and faster then my previous record speed. My feathers cut the chains as they barely tugged his skin.  The keeper seems excited about this new speed.

"Amazing! Looks like there's still room to grown-"

I quickly went to stab him with a feather blade just to shut him up. A moment of silence ends with my hopes dying as he spoke.

"Is that all you got even after the change in speed?"

A heavy chain whips me away and into a wall across the room.

"If thinking that touya is gonna die did that. I wonder what you'd do if he actually was dead. Let's find out."

Just as the smoke clears. I see touya being squeezed by the chains around him as I also see what stopped my feather. The keeper is wearing chainlink armor.  Before I could act and touya got a loud scream out. Multiple cracks can be heard as his ribs and bones break. Soon touya goes limp. Then everything goes red as I feel something snap within me.
