CHAPTER 5: Cold And Alone

Hawk's POV:

Hearing dabi yell and slam the door made me flinch as I was sitting it the corner of the room.

^I wish I could tell you touya,  but I'm just not ready to open up yet.^

I soon feel the pain of every cut start to sting.

"I need to clean these before they get infected. Where's the bathroom anyway?"

I get up and peek out of the room to look for dabi or someone else.

"Guess I'm alone."

Before finding the bathroom. I had discovered his luandry room with a washer and dryer.  Then beside it was what I was originally looking for. So I took off the cuffs and got completely undressed before taking a shower.  The water was really cold. Like dabi had no hot water at all.

"I guess when you can make your own, why pay for it heheh"

With every touch to my bruises and scars. I'd think back to how I got them and got lost in thoughts of him.

Dabi's POV:

I got to the base where Shigaraki was waiting. His arms crossed as he glares at me.

"You know hawks works with the hero commission right dabi?"

"Yeah but I assure you he's on our side."

"Oh? Show me some proof that his loyalties have changed."

I throw the bowl of feathers at Shigaraki and he catches it. In a split second, the bowl decayed as feathers went everywhere on the floor.

"Hm, wasn't expecting this."

"Neither was I but never the less he's unarmed and at my place with a nomu outside."

"Fine he can join us. However he's your responsibility got it?"

"Yeah yeah I know. "

As I began to walk away. Shigaraki was yelling at compress to clean up the feathers. So before leaving,  I burned them to dust. Shigaraki smirked at me before I left. I then tried to call hawks but his phone was turned off. So when I got back to my place. Hawks wasn't in the room. That's when I heard the dryer running. Inside was his clothes almost done. So I got them out and started looking for him.

^what is that fucking perv up to now?^

I knocked on the bathroom door and didn't hear a response. So I opened the door and was greeted by hawks naked from head to toe. I froze in place at the sight of his sculped body covered in bruises and scars.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer. "

"Ghuh s...sorry."

I quickly set his clothes on the counter and grabbed what was in the way before running out and shutting the door.

^that face wasn't pissed off, but of fear and embarrassed, and those marks. Could they be from-?"

Hawk's POV:

^shit touya saw them didn't he?^

Once dressed, I noticed the cuffs were gone.

^yeah he did see.^ *sigh*

I went to dabi and handed him my phone. In hopes to change the subject before it's brought up.

"What's this?"

"It's all the information I have on the hero comision and other pros. Once you copy it all off. Destroy it before they can track my location."

"If this is because I saw you naked-"

"Good night touya!"

I storm off acting mad but actually if I had stayed. He would've seen me cry. So I went back in the room and curled up in the corner  while crouched on a chair like a bird would perch. With a blanket to substitute wings wrapped around me. I fell asleep like always.

Dabi's POV:

While the information was copying to my laptop. I decided to check on hawks. He was asleep while away from the bed. His soft whimpers and flinching body tells me everything I needed to know. So I gently picked him up and laid him on the bed. Setting the blanket over him while I began to rub his head to relax him. Just like in the past when we were kids. It worked to calm his nerves. When I got back to the laptop. Everything was downloaded and hawks had a missed call. The caller ID was named The Keeper. Like hawks said to do. I destroyed the phone.
