It was the time of the first Quidditch Match, Gryffindor against Slytherin. Rose and her team mates changed their robes. "Wow, finally my first Quidditch match for my house!" said Emma excitedly. "It is my second year" told Hugo. "I-I didn't ask you" replied Emma. "It's our big day today, don't start a fight, you two" said Luka. They moved towards the pitch. "Captains, shake hands" told Madam Hooch. Rose shook hand with Slytherin's Captain, Tom Zabini. He was a cunning 7th year, who could do anything to make his team win. He pressed her hand hard, as if he was planning to murder her on the spot. Rose quickly took of her hand, which was paining slightly.
On Madam Hooch's whistle the brooms were up in the sky. Rose was about ten- eleven feet away from the ground looking for the golden snitch. She saw that Zabini, who was the Slytherin Seeker flew near her. She flew higher and he followed her. Perhaps he thought that Rose saw the snitch. It was when Rose saw the golden snitch about one feet above her. She quickly made her way towards the snitch and so, did Zabini.
On the other hand, the Gryffindor's were in lead by 10-0. Rose held her hand above to catch the snitch but, she felt as if something had stopped her. It was Tom. He was holding Rose's broomstick. Rose tried to free herself but, she couldn't. Of course, Tom had more physical strength than her. To her horror, Tom threw the broomstick. And yes, she was falling down. She tried to control her broom but, it seemed to be falling on it's own and THUD.
Rose slowly opened her eyes, she was in the hospital wing. All of her team mates were standing around her bed along with Albus. "Are you okay?" asked Luka. Rose nodded and said," But, what happened? And, what about the match?". Albus replied," When you fell done. Everyone gathered near you. Scorpius carried you to the hospital wing. And, the match. Professor McGonagall was very angry. As the snitch was about to be in your hand, she considered that Gryffindor has won. Tom was punished". "Oh- And, guys I need some rest, could you please come later?" asked Rose. Everyone nodded and left.
Scorpius? Did he actually carry her? "Are you okay, Rose?" called a voice from the next bed. Rose looked around, it was Lysander Scamander. Rose nodded," What are you doing here? How did you get hurt?" asked Rose. "Accidently, I drank a wrong potion and it covered my body with these disgusting red marks" he replied. "Oh- And, can I ask you something?" Rose asked, Lysander nodded. "Do you actually love Lily?" she asked. There was a complete silence. "More than myself" replied Lysander. "I see. And, why are you accompanying her in this disgusting lie?" Rose questioned. "I am willing to take her side, no matter what happens. And, yes I am jealous. I am jealous of Scorpius. But, I know that Lily loves me and not him" he answered. "Are you sure that Lily is in love with you?" asked Rose, Lysander nodded. Rose didn't talk any further.
It took two days for her to return back to her classes. Many students visited her including Albus, Hugo, Luka, Frank, Mavis, Polly and yes Lily. She knew that Lily was just annoyed because of Quidditch but, deep down she loved Rose. And, Rose did too. She was waiting to hear her cousin's talks about the new trends and perfume's. Scorpius didn't visit her but, Albus told her that he asked many times about her well being.
On the Gryffindor table Rose was busy talking to Polly and Luka. It's when Lysander moved towards her. "May I join" he asked with a wink. "Sure, why not?" replied Rose. Lysander sat between her and Polly. After a few minutes of talking and giggling, Rose realized that Lysander was quite good. On the other hand, she could see Lily glaring her strangely from the Slytherin table. Suddenly, an owl came flying up carrying a howler. Everyone looked up and were excited to see that where the howler will land. The owl threw the howler next to a plate on the Slytherin table. Lily's plate.
Full of shock, Lily picked up the howler and opened it. Some students put their fingers in their ears. "LILY LUNA POTTER, HOW DARE YOU?" there came a male voice. Rose knew who he was. It was Harry Potter. "HOW DARE YOU DATE THAT LITTLE FERRET? AND WHY DID YOU LIE TO ME ABOUT DATING LYSANDER SCAMANDER? I DIDN'T EXPECT SUCH A THING FROM YOU! YOU DISAPPOINTED ME! BREAK UP WITH HIM OR YOU WILL NOT BE IN HOGWARTS BEFORE YOU SAY THE WORD 'DATING'! And, give my love to Albus". The howler burned up. There was a blast of laughter from other Slytherin's.
Lysander looked more shocked than Lily. He quickly hurried to the Slytherin table to comfort her. "Are you okay?" he asked. Lily nodded and started crying. Lysander sat between her and Scorpius and comforted her. Scorpius's face went pale. Was Rose right? Was Lily cheating him? He thought. Rose quickly hurried towards Lily and hugged her. The whole school was watching with open eyes as if it was one of the drama's which Muggle watch.
Rose and Lysander held Lily's hands and took her away from the hall, followed by Albus, Scorpius and Hugo. They went in the Gryffindor common room. The common room was empty because everyone else was at the breakfast or in their classes. "Calm down, Lily" said Rose and patted her on the back. "I-I a-am s-sorry R-Rose" replied Lily and hugged her. At the next moment, both of them were crying. Albus, Scorpius and Hugo couldn't understand what was happening. Lysander said,"Don't cry. It's time to tell everyone the truth". There was an awakward silence. "Y-Yeah" said Lily.
