I Can't Give Up On Him

Chapter 14

Rose wiped her tears and headed towards the DADA's lesson. "There she is" said a voice from behind. Rose turned back. There standing were the four Slytherin boys. She quickly started walking. The four ran after her and caught her. "Leave me, before I take another hundred points from your house" she said. "We don't care" they replied together.

"Come with us, sweetheart" said the first one. "Oh- Zabini we forgot to tell her our names" the second one said. The first one nodded and said," I am the legendary Tom Zabini's brother Jake Zabini". "I don't care. Get away before I use a spell on you" told Rose. "Without a wand?" the second one asked. The other two laughed. Rose looked in her bag of books and her robes, her wand was missing. "Give. Me. My. Wand. Back." she said. "NO" the third one said. Rose looked around the hall. There was no one in the hall.

Suddenly, she felt someone touching her body. It was Zabini. Rose tried to rescue herself but, failed. He held her tighter and tighter.

FLASH.

Something happened. Someone else was there except for her and the four boys. Suddenly, she felt as if she was hugging ice. She turned her head a bit and saw Jake Zabini covered with ice. And, the other three were now running away. Rose turned her head to the opposite side. She saw Scorpius pointing a wand towards Zabini filled with anger.

"Scorp" she said with tears in her eyes. Scorpius quickly headed towards her and moved Zabini away. "Are you okay, Rosie?" he asked quickly. Rose nodded and hugged him. Scorpius could feel butterflies in his stomach. "Thank you" she said. "What are friends for?" he replied. After a few moments, Rose broke the hug. "What should we do with him?" she asked. "Kill him for touching my Rosie" said Scorpius. My Rosie? OH MY GOD. Rose was getting redder and redder at the word 'my'. "We should give him to McGonagall" she said. Scorpius nodded. After that stuff, the two headed towards the class.

The day was filled with learning a lot of new stuff. "Rose, Are you okay now?" asked Lily. She was the fourth one to ask after Hugo, Albus and Mavis. Rose nodded. "How could that Zabini boy? Thankfully, Scorpius was there" said Lily. Rose nodded. "Was he angry at that Zabini boy?" asked Lily. Rose nodded again, the word 'my Rosie' still floated in her mind. "Perhaps he likes you. That's why he saved you" said Lily. "Nahh- Lily, a friend would do that" replied Rose. "Oh come on Rose- he is jealous when you are with Luka. I saw it with my own two eyes" told Lily. "That's not true" said Rose and went to bed.

The next day was cheerful. Rose headed towards the Great Hall and sat on the Gryffindor table. Suddenly, some letters dropped on the four tables. Rose had got one. She opened it. It said:

Dear Rose,

It's me Ron. I got to know about what happened. Hope you are fine! How dare that Zabini touch my Rose? Thankfully, your future husband was there. And, he saved you. I am proud of Scorpius.

Rose blushed. Her dad was just soo. She didn't know what happened to him. She looked at the Slytherin table and saw that Scorpius was reading some letter and was looking embarrased. She moved towards him," What happened?" she asked. He gave her the letter. Rose read it. It said:

Dear Scorpius,

It's me Ron, your future father in law. I am really really thankful that you saved Rose from that monster. Me and Draco think that you two should start dating now! Again, a big thanks.

Rose eyed the letter looking embarrased. "I am sorry about my dad" she said. "It's fine" replied Scorpius and headed out. "Oof- I forgot to tell him that it's his duty today at night" said Rose and hurried after him.

A blonde girl saw Rose walking towards Scorpius and quickly called "Scorp" and hurried towards him. Rose stopped there. "What's it Anna?" he asked. "When are you going to tell everyone that you are dating me?" the girl said and quickly kissed Scorpius. Why? How could he? Rose turned back with tears in her. She quickly ran away to the washroom.

"What the hell Anna?" asked Scorpius and pushed her away. "I did my job" the girl said and walked away. "Is she out of her mind or what?" said Scorpius and moved towards his class.

Days flew like water, Scorpius didn't know why Rose wasn't talking to him. She did talk to him but, only about the Head duties. Quidditch season was near and something shocking happened. "Why Rose?" asked Luka. The two were walking in the halls. Luka chasing her. "I can't handle it" she said.

"You can"

"No I can't"

"We will loose"

"I don't care"

"Please"

"It's your problem now"

Those were the last words she said to him and ran away quickly. "I don't wanna be captain, Hugo" said Luka. "I don't want to see you as a captain too" replied Hugo. Yes, Rose was no longer a Quidditch player. She quitted. And, now she was quitting being the Head Girl. "STOP ROSE" said Albus. "What do you need Albus?" she asked. "Where are you doing this?" he asked. "I can't handle it" she replied and moved towards McGonagall's office.

After a few minutes, she returned smiling. "What?" asked Albus. "I am no longer Head Girl" she said. "Do you know, Uncle and Aunt will be disappointed" Albus told. "I know" she replied. "Then, why?" asked Albus. But, Rose walked away. Suddenly, she bumped into someone. It was Scorpius. "Ah- Sorry" she said. "Why are you doing this?" he asked. "So I can happily be in a relationship without the tension of these duties" she replied. "Relationship?" he asked. "Yep" she replied. "With whom?" he asked. "You will find out soon" she replied and moved away.
