"What are we going to do about Keefe?"  That was the million dollar question that everyone seemed to be asking Sophie.  Ever since she'd returned home to find a lousy sheet of paper on her pillow written by none other than Keefe Sencen, she'd been asked by every Tom, Dick, and Harry about Lord HunkyHair and Sophie had just about had it.

They were all gathered in the common space at Havenfield to discuss the Neverseen and what to do about them but Keefe's name instead kept surfacing and Sophie had nothing more to tell them than what they already knew.  Even still, they pressed her, refusing to accept her shrugs and attempts at steering the conversation back toward the matter at hand.

"We should go after him." Fitz said firmly.  "He's a danger to himself and to others at the moment.  Honestly, it's still incredible to me that Grady let him go.  Didn't he realize the potential consequences of that decision?"

"I think we should leave him."  Biana disagreed.  "Keefe made his decision and it was a brave one at that."

"Brave?" Fitz scoffed, quirking his brow.  "Ludicrous is more likely."

"Going after Keefe would be like tying a bow to his head and giving him to the Neverseen."  Tam interjected.  "That would be ludicrous."

"Yeah, and it was brave because he had to give up all of the things he loves and travel to a land without any of the elven assets to which he is accustomed." Biana added.  "Remember when we went to Florence?  It was only by a stroke of luck that we had the currency for gelato and without Dex, Keefe could never be so fortunate.  If something as small as that requires money, imagine what a home must cost?  He's in it deep."

"Which is exactly why he needs our help."  Lihn joined in the arguing.  "I agree with Fitz, we should go after him.  Surely we could find a way to retrieve him in secret..."

"Sophie and I could track him," Fitz began, his perfect face screwed up as he struggled to think of a plan.  "Dex could scramble our registry feeds, and Tam could keep us hidden in shadow the entire time.  We get in, we get out.  Simple."

"Except when have any of our plans ever gone that way?"  Biana pointed out.  "More likely, we get in there, Gisela joins us two seconds later, kidnaps Keefe, and leaves."
