Lapis' routine and schedule was a constant to her daily life nowadays.
Wake up
Brush her teeth.
Eat her breakfast.
Then go to work at retail.
After work, she'd eat her dinner.
Maybe a short break next.
Then finally back to bed.
As if completely memorized to muscle memory, Lapis could've bet she could go her whole day staying out of tune with her surroundings and still get to bed at the end of the day.
Wake up.
Keep up Hygiene.
Eat breakfast.
Work.
Dinner.
Break.
Sleep.
"Over and over again." With her little monologue finished in the most monotone voice she could emit, Lapis returned her attention back to her two co-workers that stared at her in concerned awe. One more judgmental than the other. Which only made her regret going along with their sudden request to play questionnaire with them.
The more judgmental one couldn't even hold back a snicker as he brought a hand to hold his curly ginger-brown mohawk. Lapis was glad that she could forget his name so easily. "Jeez, that sounds boring as he- ow!" He further sniggered before feeling a ping of pain from the elbow now jabbed into his side.
"Lars!" A shorter blonde girl beside him, Sadie, murmured. Soon taking her elbow back to her own side. "Sorry about him, my schedule isn't that much different than yours actually." She chuckled with a nervous smile, which Lapis only solemnly nodded in response.
"Pshh- don't you guys have anything better to do than work?" The ear gauge loving guy questioned, leaning back on the break rooms countertop.
"Well... I've been meaning to watch binge Organ Pickler again. Oh! And I heard Camp Pining Hearts got a reboot, so I might check that out too."
"You're watching that again? Sadie, that'll be like your ninth time bingeing it."
"What can I say? Part 7 is really good."
"Tsk- at least it's not something like Fangs of Love."
"Wait, Camp Pining Hearts is getting a reboot?" Lapis interrupted, as the title caught her attention to the two co-workers' surprise.
Lars raised an eyebrow at her. "You watch that cra-?"
"We can watch it together if you want! It'd be fun to watch the show with someone else." Sadie quickly intervened with his comment.
"Su- erm." She quickly shut herself up. Lapis liked the idea of watching the show with someone, fairly much. But it just wouldn't be right in reality. "Sorry, I think I'll just watch it on my own. But thanks, for asking."
"Oh, that's fine! So Lars, are we still on for movie night?"
The person in question looked between them. "I guess, but only so I can make fun of you and the show." He sheepishly replied. "Anyways, it's what- Sadie's turn now?"
"Right! Uhm... hmm. Ok, what'd you guys do if you got a retry at life if you got the chance aannnd happened to have kept your memories that you have now."
