The Power Of Love

School

Its been a week since I got here in Ohio. School starts back up today, so I was getting ready and I threw on an Avenged Sevenfold tee shirt on and a pair of black skinny jeans. I put on my knee high lace up boots and looked in my full length mirror. Seems to be okay for the first day, I guess. I was getting ready to apply my makeup when I heard a knock at my door. I went and opened it to Shawn, ready to go to school. Shit. I forgot that he was coming over to walk me to school. "Hey." He smiled. "Hai, handsome. Come in. I need to finish putting on my makeup." He made a face. "You don't need makeup, you're beautiful the way you are." I giggled. "Its just a bit of eye makeup." I went in my room and finished doing my makeup. Shawn followed and watched. When I finished, I grabbed his hand and we left. As we left, I locked my house up. School is going to be just as bad, if not worse than California... When we got to school, Shawn and I had the same class (insert classes because I don't wanna try to figure out a schedule.) We happened to sit next to each other and a guy with longish hair started talking to us. "Hey." "Hai." "My name is Billy. Nice to meet you." I smiled. "My name is Arcadia. Nice to meet you too." Shawn muttered something along the lines of "I'm Shawn." And put his head on his desk as the rest of the class came in. It can't be that bad.... Oh but it was that bad. Class started and I paid attention. Well, as much attention as I could. People were whispering names like emo fag and slut towards Shawn and I. I looked at him and whisperd "Don't let it get to you love... They just don't know what they're talking about." One of them whispered to Shawn "You'll never have a girlfriend, you emo fag." I looked him straight in the eyes. "I am his girlfriend, thank you very much. And I dare you to say one more rude thing to him. I fucking dare you." He smirked and whispered into Shawn's ear. Shawn started to have tears stream down his face. I stood up and decked the guy square in the nose. Billy looked at me as the guys nose started to bleed. "Arcadia...." I pointed at Shawn and Billy glared at the guy. The teacher sent me to the principles office. I got suspended for a week, but I had to stay in the office for the day because I had no parents to pick me up. At the end of the day, I went and found Billy and Shawn. "Sorry guys I'm suspended for a week." Billy handed me his phone and said "Find yourself on Kik." I laughed and found myself, then began to walk home with Shawn. When we got to Shawn's house I kissed him goodbye and slipped a key into his hand. "What's this to?" "My house." "Okay..?" "Its just in case you need to get away from your family or something. Just lock the door behind you." "Okay." He must think I'm weird. "Text me?" "Always." I smiled and walked into my house, flopping down on my couch. Billy and I talked all night and finally I fell asleep.
