Crash and Burn

Shawn had gotten out of the hospital about two weeks ago. I didnt let him go home. Even though today was my birthday, i spent the day taking care of Shawn. I didnt care much for birthdays. He kept telling me to lay down or sit down or relax. Yeah, right. Im totally going to relax when my boyfriend is laying in my bed in pain. No.
Finally, it got to be time for bed. I climbed in bed next to him and curled up onto him. I honestly was just glad hes okay at this point. I made him rest because im overprotective like that, i guess. Then again, i was afriad he was going to die about 3 weeks ago, so i think this is a bit underprotective. Shawn was passed out within a few minutes. I laid there until i finally fell asleep.
I woke up and Shawn was out of bed. What in the ever living fuck are you doing out of bed, Shawn. "Shawn?" I called out. "In here." It came from the bathroom. I walked in and realized the shower was on. "Sorry.." I walked back out, or tried. Shawn grabbed my wrist and pulled me close. "The shower isnt for me, silly. Do i have all my clothes off? This shower is for you. I feel better. And i want you to relax, okay? I burnt some sage and it kinda mixed with the steam." I nodded. "Thanks baby." I hugged him tight. "But ill be lonely in there..." Shawn smiled and nodded. "I will sit in there with you but nothing else, okay?" I nodded again. I stripped and did the normal shower things, such as washing myself. Shawn sat in there and i couldnt see exactly what he was doing, but thats okay. When i got out, Shawn and i went and laid down. I was done with him being hurt. I was done with everything. I waited until he fell asleep, and i got up and went into the bathroom. I knew i had a blade hidden. I wasnt going to do anything deep, but meh. I found my blade and went to work on my thigh. I put a few deep cuts here and there. Maybe 5. I put a few scratch cuts, barely deep enough to bleed. But needless to say, i had cut it up pretty badly. I applied pressure and stopped the bleeding, then bandaged it after putting antibiotic ointment on it. Hen, after i was positive the bleeding had stopped, i unbandaged it and put a pair of sweats on. I crawled back into bed with Shawn. He woke up instantly. "You okay, baby?" I glanced at my thighs and sighed. "Yeah.." He looked down at my thighs. "Show me." I sighed again and showed him. "Arcadia..." I looked down. "I think its best i move in with you, Cadi. Is that okay?" I looked up at him, searching for any sign of lie. When i found none, i nodded shyly and nuzzled my face into his chest. "Telling them is going to crash and burn."
