chapter six- whiskey and weed

i go into the cafe at lunch, i skipped 2 lessons with him outside, i'm sat at the table with my mates with them asking about 3rd unit with Hannah,

"Aven i can't believe you slapped her... Finally that girl deserved it" Ayah says laughing at the thought,

"Av you okay?" Dais asks nudging me, she hates violence and i can tell she doesn't like that slapped her but she understands.

"yeah i'm fine, she just got under my skin"

Dais is my person, she knows me inside n out, she knows all my insecurities and all my darkest parts and she's still here and for that i'm eternally grateful.

The head of sixthform started to walk over to me and my friends, stopping at my table, giving me a nod, i got up knowing this was coming,

i walk into his office and sit down in the chair it not being the first time i've been in here,

"So Aven i've been informed about an allegation that you slapped Hannah in 3rd unit-"

"it's not an allegation i did slap her sir" i say no point beating around the bush,

"right well Aven you can understand that you can't assault someone at school, what made you slap her?" he asked me leaning back in his chair,

"she mentioned my family and said some shit things sir" i say my voice becoming monotonous as it always does when my emotions are in the air.

"well that is unacceptable and i will be speaking to her , due to that fact ill give you 2 days detention as i know you have a lot going on but this is your first and final free pass Aven , also i've called your guardian as i think it's best you go home to calm down" he said a grave expression resting on his face

"thankyou for not suspending me Sir but what do you mean calm down , i'm fine and i don't need you presuming i'm not"  my anger flaring up again,

"Aven i'm not presuming anything but it'll be easier if you leave due to Hannah being a bit hysterical" he says giving me a sympathy smile,

"yes ok as long as Hannah's ok , i'll be out front leaving " i say before walking out the door  , i walk to the cafe to explain to everyone before passing a sniffling Hannah on the table next to them,

"guys i'm being sent home because of it but i'll be back tomorrow, i'll talk to you later. Can one of you tell Luca ? i don't know where he is" i ask looking around,

"yeah sure Av ill call you later" felix says passing my bottle off the table to me, i turn around before turning to hannah

"get over yourself Hannah i barely touched and maybe you'll think twice before mentioning my family" i glare at her before walking out to the car park to see Leo leaning on the side on his car, i walk over to him and he looks up to me,

"couldn't do one day without trouble mio amore" he smirks at me walking around to his side of the car,

"shut it Leo" i say getting into the passenger seat,

he chuckled at me, "you wanna stop for food love ? it have you eaten?"

now i think about my chat with the head made me leave my lunch at the table,
"no i haven't stop somewhere or we can just get something at your house" i say checking my phone,

"Mio amore its your house too now remember that and i'll stop at that italian in town"

i nod my head at him,

he pulls into the Italian on the highstreet of the town and i hope out straightening out my dungarees that hung low on my hips, Leo walked around to my side and settled his arm around my waist , i looked down and it and unwrapped myself,
