"No...No!" Akushima screamed in his head as he wrestled with the chains, his face becoming red as he did until Kazan walked up to him and held his head back from his hair and tore the tape from his face.

"I think I'll let you live with the guilt and mental torture. It's better than death itself," A large grin would slide on his face and he roughly let go of his head. "Hm... Maybe a mental hospital will help you through the tough times you're having. I mean you did almost kill that last person that murdered your friend. Isn't that a story to tell them when I call," Kazan unarmed the gun and shoved the bullets in his pocket, and placed the gun on the shelf "Also when the authorities come, don't you dare say a word or else the same thing will happen to your mother and that girl's friend along with the child that she is carrying." He said as he walked out to clean himself of the blood, leaving Akushima alone in the shed with Amriths dead body.

He looked at her mangled clothes that barely hid the cuts and bruises all over her body. The burned markings of Kazan's name on her side and neck. Some nails ripped from her fingers that were now stained with blood. Most of her skin was stained with the dried blood from all the deep cuts that had been previously inflicted. Then lastly, the bullet wound in her head that was covered by her hair. She didn't even look human, but more of a rag doll that a pet had gotten a hold of and ripped to shreds to the point the last threads were barely holding on for some form of humanity. She no longer looked like herself, her identity was stolen from her.

There was no way that this was the girl that sat next to him on car rides around the city, the girl who brought him and his father back together after large disputes had torn them apart. The girl whose smile lit up the room. Whose mind and heart was kinder and purer than a child's. Whose eyes would never betray the one to who she was loyal. Whose feet would walk next to him but attack his own when they were cold. The girl that he was supposed to marry later that year when the cherry blossoms were blooming.

And yet it was. The girl before him was the love of his life. And he couldn't do anything to save her from getting raped and killed right before his eyes. A flood of emotions washed over him. Anger, sadness, confusion, disbelief, pain.

"Ammy. . .?" He didn't want to believe that she was dead. There was no way that she could have been. He just needed to get to her and hold her in his arms.

He began to look for the key for the cuffed chains around his wrists. It wasn't much help that they were behind his back. As he scanned the room with his eyes, he found the keys on the same table that the unloaded gun was on.

Akushima jumped in his chair and made his way over to the table, nearly fumbling over the chair legs. He turned his back to the table and leaned forwards to reach for the key, searching frantically with his fingers. Once he felt the cool metal of the key, he grabbed it and shoved it into the keyhole of the cuffs. He freed his hands and used the key to unlock the lock of the chains around his waist and feet. Once he shimmied out of the chain's grasp, he stumbled over to Amrith whose warmth was starting to disappear. He placed two fingers on the side of her neck and waited to feel a pulse. Nothing. After a few seconds, he rested his ear against her chest. Again, nothing.

Reality hit him like a boulder that a crane had thrown from its hold. All the feelings that hit him earlier hit him again and again. He grit his teeth together to hold in his screams, but the tears dam had broken and they came running out. The first landed on the floor, the next on her cheek, then his thigh. He pulled Amrith closer to him as he bawled into her lifeless body.

A Few Hours Later. . .

Sirens could barely be heard outside of the premises of the small patch of land. Kazan and Jared were talking to the authorities, telling them lies that they had been exploring the forest and found the small sheds. Then they heard a gunshot with menacing laughter that followed it and that was when they had run out of the forest to get service and call the cops. The police had found Akushima curled up next to Amrith's body and had to pry him off of her. When they tried to question him, he just looked like a trapped soul with his eyes dull and his body unmoving.

"Can we get Meadows Mental Institution out here? The kid doesn't seem like he's going to tell us anything in this state." One of the officers spoke over a radio system. A muffled voice responded and the officer placed his radio back into its carrier. Within moments, a white car with a mental hospital nurse appeared and took Akushima into the car with them.

Before they shut the door, he saw Amrith's body being placed into a body bag and thrown into the back of an ambulance. Seeing how they mistreated her corpse, lit a short fuse inside Akushima that was a few notches too short.

"Don't do that to her, you bastard!"

He wrestled with the nurse to get out of the car but they had pushed him back in and strapped him to the seat, shutting and locking the door behind them. With deep and heavy breaths, he calmed himself down wondering why he should listen to Kazan's orders when the police could lock him up in jail for multiple charges. 'No. . . He probably has more connections that I don't know about that could harm my mom and Kennya. That sick bastard.'

The nurse got into the car once they saw that he was calmed down enough and began to drive off towards the mental institution. "Don't worry Mr. Yuuki, you can speak to us when you're ready to. I know that must have been torture for you to witness. But don't worry, we will take care of you and your friends can even come and visit." The nurse would give him a reassuring smile through the rearview mirror, but Akushima wasn't even paying attention. His gaze was in his lap where his hands laid, his conscious not even home.

. . .

It had been four days since he was admitted to the institution. He had barely eaten any food and hadn't moved from a chair in the corner of the room other than to use the restroom and go to bed. But even at night, he would just lie there awake through the night, drifting off for half an hour before waking up and laying there for another few hours. He was barely hanging onto his will to live.

His empty mind was interrupted by the sound of the loud, squeaky door hinges opening. He turned his attention to the door and saw the nurse that had driven him to the institution the other day. He usually only came in to give him food, take the tray, and check upon him. But this time there was a large figure behind him, hidden by the darkness of the dimly lit hallway.

"Hello again Mr. Yuuki," The nurse walked into the room slowly, raising a slight concern in Akushima. "I brought someone along with me today, he will be your new nurse to take care of you. I have more patients coming in that I need to address and he needs some practice since he is new. I'm sure you'll be nice to him. Come on in Mr. Grayson."

The tall figure that was in the hallway whose face was covered by shadows from earlier took a few steps into the room. A crooked nose, dark brown hair, and an evil smile. Akushima's eyes widened in horror as the recognition clicked immediately. It was none other than Kazan, the one who brutally tortured his lover and put him in this miserable place. He greeted him with a smile that was plastered in sympathy but covered the evil underneath of it.

"Greetings Mr. Yuuki, I'm sure we'll get along splendidly."
