Part IV

Amrith woke up with her clothes torn to shreds barely covering anything. Goosebumps trailed her skin from the cold air and her breath could be seen. The blood from cuts that ran deep and different torture methods had stained her skin and the floor around her. The life in her eyes was almost gone. It had been three hours since she was last harmed.

The door swung open and cold air filled the room even more. Snow entered the room with the company of Kazan. "So the doll is awake and ready for the next lesson? Nice to know." Amrith laid there limp with her hands above her head and her toes barely touching the ground. She lifted her head just enough to take a moment of eye contact before he kicked one of her wounds. "I don't remember dolls moving last time I was at the store."

"And I don't remember becoming merchandise for you to steal."She had a slight bit of sarcasm in her voice. Kazan laughed as he kicked her again. This time she screamed out in pain as the blood began to drip down her torso.

"You know the more I hold back, the worse it will be for you in the end. Your little boyfriend has been looking for you for so long that he's lost his mind! And oh boy do I have a show for him once he does. However, I'm starting to get impatient with him for taking so long," He let out a long, dragged out sigh as he walked over to the shelf across the room. Dust lined the instruments that sat on the wood. "I'm getting tired of using knives and pliers. Let's try this." He grabbed a branding stick that had his name on it. It was about an inch long. "Don't let the size of it deceive you. The pain it brings to someone, let's say is educational." The grin on his face grew wider as he walked over to the furnace and started a fire. "I'll be back once the fire is hot."

He left the room and shut the door behind him. Even though the building wasn't very well insulated, the heat began to fill up the room. Before five minutes could have passed, Amrith was sweating bullets. Kazan walked back into the room and removed his jacket. "Seems like the fire is hot enough. Are you ready?" Amrith glared at him. He walked over to her and grabbed her face and tilted it to the side. "Maybe I should mark you here on your neck. Or your shoulder. Or perhaps I should go lower." Amrith shivered slightly as he whispered into her ear. "Either way your screams will be. . . pleasing."

"I won't give you that satisfaction.'' She jerked her head out of his grasp. In response, Kazan grabbed her hair and kneed her in the stomach. A small gasp of air escaped from her mouth as she hissed in pain.

"I know you're weak to pain. So the look on your face would be enough." He pulled her hair back to make her look at him. "Such a shame that you chose to date Yuuki. If only you two didn't meet in that hospital then you wouldn't be here right now. He doesn't even care for you. You have no idea what he says to his friends while you're not there."

"And you do? I don't think you know him like I do."

"Oh sweetheart, I've got recordings. Maybe I'll show you but I'll let your mind wander." He released her hair and her head dropped slightly. "Now that the metal is heated, where should I put my name? Let's start here." He moved her hair out of the way and placed the burning metal on her neck. Amrith bit her tongue to keep from yelling. "You know if you scream it helps the pain!"

"Never!" He pressed the metal on her skin even harder and she let out a slight groan of pain.

"Your own loss." He removed the metal and tore the side of her shirt open. "This area seems unharmed. Why don't we change that," He placed his hand over her side and felt her skin. "My aren't you soft? Let's change that as well." He stabbed the metal on her side. Amrith let out a murderous scream from the pain it brought. "Yes, there it is."

As he pressed the metal harder against her skin, the door opened and Jared tossed a body bag onto the floor. "It's him this time. Yuuki was asleep so a bit of a whack kept him out."

"Well don't just stand there, tie him up on the metal chair. And don't use tape, use the chains. He's a strong one." Kazan removed the metal and blew on it, then examined the name he had burned on her. "Now those are a sight to behold. Jared, once you're done, leave. I believe these two are in for a pleasurable evening." He walked out and Jared unzipped the bag and placed Akushima on a metal chair and tied him with chains that were connected to the wall, immobilizing him.

"Well, my job here is done. See you after the show." Jared waved his hand and left the building. Akushima groaned a bit as his eyes fluttered open.

"Huh? Where the hell am I?" He began to look around the room as his vision became more clear. He spotted Amrith chained to the wall and blood surrounding her. His eyes flew open as he tried to get out of the chair, but he was met with failure. "Ammy! Wake up can you hear me!"

"Amrith opened her eyes and was met with an image of Akushima sitting across the room. "Why are you here?" She said weakly. "You shouldn't be here."

"I don't know how I got here but I-" The view of the burns came into view. Anger rose within him and he jerked his hands to get out of the chain as he was met with failure yet again. "Who the hell imprinted you! I'll kill the bastard!"

"You mean me?" Kazan walked into the room without a shirt on a cloth tied to his wrist. "Nice to see you again old friend."
