During the night, they'd both gotten half-dressed before getting back into bed. Mandy loved the way their bodies felt—smooth and malleable. "Was it good for you?" She asked nervously.

"Better than I imagined."

"No lie?" Her thigh jumped at the thought of their heated night.

Gabby nodded, tracing a line up her arm and across her chest. "I like hearing you whine, frosh. About something other than school." Their laughter filled the room. "How, uh... how was your first time with a woman?"

"Easier than I would have thought." Her response was simple, but she wasn't ready to tell her she loved how well Gabby knew her body and knew how to make her shake. Without warning, Mandy leaned over and kissed Gabby, needing her once more.

Waking up the next morning, she smiled at the fact that Gabby had her arm wrapped around her waist. She didn't ever want to move or to even disturb the woman next to her, but she reached out and pushed back one of Gabby's braids. "Is that how you say 'good morning'?"

"No," Mandy laughed, getting shy. Were they were supposed to kiss again or go another round or was that only in moments of intense passion? Luckily, she didn't have to think so hard because Gabby rolled over and sat on the edge of the bed. "Are you leaving?"

"We're gonna have breakfast, right?" Mandy nodded. "Meet me at the cafeteria in thirty?"

"Sounds like a plan."

Gabby opened the door and leaned in to kiss her, sending her soaring. As they held each other, Scotty walked up. "Well, well, well... matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match," she sang. Mandy rolled her eyes and Gabby waved them goodbye. She walked into her room and Scotty grinned while staring at the bed. "Your hair, the bed, your clothes," she said pointing to each thing, "you two had sex!"

Scratching her head, Mandy ignored the accurate accusation by saying: "We're getting food in a bit. Want to join us?"

"Maybe... if you spill the tea."

She skipped a shower and repeatedly tried dodging Scotty's tries at interrogating her. "Yes, we hooked up"... "No, I'm not telling you what happened"... "I don't know, Scotty"... "I don't know, Scotty!"... "Just don't bring it up at breakfast, okay?" Mandy wouldn't lie, breakfast started awkwardly. She could tell that Gabby wanted to talk about their night. And that Scotty was itching to get the details. Sitting across from Gabby and making eyes at her over their pancakes, she wished they were alone. But she also wanted to discuss the night with Scotty. Her eyes met her best friend's. "One question, Aisha."

Her classmate took a beat. "Are you two a thing?" She whispered.

Mandy sighed. Why did it have to be that question? She thought. That was the one question she had absolutely no answer to. "I didn't say we'd answer."

"Yeah, I'm... we're just having fun, right, frosh?" Gabby winked. She agreed with a smile; but hearing that pissed Mandy off a little. But she couldn't put her finger on why. "See?" They talked and ate a bit more before leaving. Outside of the cafeteria, Scotty moved away to talk to someone she knew only in passing. Gabby stroked her palm and pulled her in for a hug. "Can I come by later?"

"Yes."

The rest of Mandy's day was spent in the library trying to distance herself from the room that Gabby had made her scream in and the bed that had housed her orgasms. Every time she thought about the night, she started to sweat in multiple places. It was like she'd been a virgin and had been touched for the very first time. Now, sex with Gabrielle was all she could think about. Was this what people when they said a person got "turned out"? Was she?
