The little one really likes sleeping nestled in the gap between his mommy and daddy. His mommy's nice smelling hair is near and Yesung sniffles to the black hair before slowly grabbing a fistful of it. Heechul whines something from his deep slumber and suddenly a hand with caramel colored skin appeared and gently grabs his petite wrist. Yesung squirms a bit and turns his head to see who stopped him and smiles at his daddy.
"You are awake much earlier."
His daddy's voice is a bit raspy because he himself woke up a few minutes ago. Yesung squirms closer to his daddy and pushes his face in the crook of his neck.
"My little snuggle bug."
His daddy kissed the top of his head and smiles because he likes to cuddle, everyone likes to cuddle. Siwon starts to play with the soft black hair and Yesung emits a small content noise and presses his face even harder in the crook of daddy's neck. His daddy's smell is so calming. He loves mommy, but being held by daddy is something different. Yesung is near to falling asleep again when Heechul woke up and grabbed him under armpits.
"Aren't we hungry?"
Yesung whines no and wants to go back to daddy, but mommy is already carrying him out of the bedroom. They enter the kitchen and he kicks his thin legs a bit after spotting his high chair. In the matter of a few seconds, he is effectively trapped inside and angrily tugs on the chest harness. He hates this thing! You try to climb out of your chair a few times and they strap you in!
All he got as a settlement is a handful of banana chips. At least Bugsy appeared because he smells bacon and runs to the stove to beg. However, Heechul is stern. He pointed toward the dog's bowl and Bugsy barks to let him know how mad he is. Yesung frowns because he hates loud noises this early. The dog turned to him and Yesung frowns even more when the dog starts to jump to reach the tray of the highchair. Bugsy can smell the banana chips and he really wants some so he jumps until he finally steals a few of them. Yesung cries out and Heechul turned around. He angrily chased Bugsy away and finished cooking breakfast - bacon, scrambled eggs and toasts. Siwon comes and they sit down.
Yesung doesn't have to use the fork with Minnie Mouse and eats the bacon using his short fingers. He really likes bacon so he is silently eating and then his daddy picks him up.
"Let's go out, okay?"
He wants to give Heechul a bit of rest so he goes to dress Yesung and they will go out and buy lunch. Heechul is glad that he will be alone for a moment and forces Siwon to also take Bugsy. Siwon is holding Yesung's little hand in his left hand and the leash is in his right hand. It is hard to hold both of them - Bugsy and Yesung are both tugging on his arms and want to explore. As soon as they reached the park, Siwon untied the leash and let Bugsy run while Yesung collects pine cones and interesting stones so later he can give them to mommy. After a moment Yesung got hungry and spots a grandpa who is selling chicken popcorn. The deep fried boneless chicken nuggets are coated with Korean special sticky, spicy and sweet sauce. His daddy quickly buys it and Yesung grabs a hot piece of chicken. Yesung licks his lips and enjoys the tasty chicken, but then he gets thirsty. Luckily for him there is a kiosk with fresh pomegranate juice.
The world is nicer with full stomach and Yesung spots en empty playground. He runs to play and his daddy hurries to push him on a swing. Yesung is kicking his legs in the air while Siwon is worried that he will fall down. It is fun to play, but after some time he starts to miss his mommy. What is mommy doing? Maybe that mommy is sad and lonely?
Yesung's chin wobbles and Siwon sees it. He is sure that Yesung will cry soon so he tries to find out what is wrong and then they quickly go home. Heechul is surprised when sobbing Yesung runs to him and picks him up.
"Aww, what happened?"
He is checking his baby's tiny fingers and limbs to see if he got hurt but there is no injury. Heechul starts to pat Yesung's back to calm him down and sits down on the couch in the living room.
"Look what mommy has?"
Heechul lifts a rattle and shakes it a few times in an attempt to get Yesung's attention.
Yesung sobs a bit more and hugs mommy around neck. He was really worried that his mommy is lonely and now can't stop his tears. Heechul sighs in defeat because this is typical - he can't have a moment for himself because Yesung has a serious problem with separation anxiety. Yesung is clinging to his mommy and Siwon knows he is useless now. No one is going to pay attention to him when the mommy and baby have a nice time.
Yesung starts sucking on his thumb and breathes in Heechul's nice scent. His little feet squirms a bit when he feels his mommy getting up. Heechul wants to sit outside for a while to enjoy the pleasant weather. He sighs after spotting the playhouse. Soon the weather will be warm enough for Yesung to play outside and he is sure it will be a fight to get him out of the cute playhouse. Heechul is playing with Yesung's hair and watches a few birds who are building nests on the trees in their garden. Yesung likes his mommy, but now he wants to play. Heechul let him run back in the house and the little one unpacks his toys in the playroom. Siwon is working and Heechul leaves Yesung to play on his own, there is no need for him to be in the playroom when Yesung isn't calling for him. Yesung if doing fine, he builds a castle from blocks and then opens a maze book with farmer Bill and his animals on a busy day. Siwon left his work to cook dinner and found Yesung sucking on his pacifier and tries to find a way in the maze book. Siwon smiles and watches his baby for a moment before picking him up.
"Do you want to help daddy with cooking?"
Yesung doesn't really know if he wants to, but daddy is already strapping him in his highchair. Siwon is tired of cooking so he decides to cook simple Mac and Cheese. Heechul also comes and they sit down around the dining table. Yesung is also quite tired and he slowly chews on the pasta until his daddy picks him up and carries him in the living room to watch cartoons. Siwon plays Treehouse Detectives and sits down with his baby. Yesung is slowly sucking on his pacifier and plays with his toes until mommy came and said that the bath is ready. Yesung is really tired after the warm bath and Siwon carries him in the bedroom where is Heechul reading a book in the bed. Siwon lay him down next to his partner and goes to wash the dishes.
Yesung is almost asleep, his eyes are closed, but he can still hear his mommy who is turning pages of his book. The soft hand petting through his hair stopped for a brief moment and Yesung feels that someone is lifting him up. He can't think much beyond those simple touches, he whines and tries to turn his face away from the source of a soft breath which is tickling the shell of his ear. Siwon is trying not to wake him up, he slowly redressed him into a pastel yellow onesie. He cuddles Yesung against his broad chest and runs the tip of his finger over one of his pink cheeks. Yesung's eyelashes flutter, and it makes Siwon's heart skip a beat - he got scared that Yesung is waking up, but then the little one sighs and starts to suck on his pacifier. Siwon carefully put him down in the crib and sneaks out of the nursery. He jumps in the bed and finds out Heechul is also asleep, he only managed to put his book aside and fell asleep. Siwon sighs and covers his husband with a blanket before lying down and closing his eyes.
