Baby Yesung

No one's POV

It was only matter of time before Yesung got sick too. He woke up in middle of night and feels so icky and weak. His nose is full and his throat hurt. It is making breathing difficult and Yesung silently whimpered. His head hurts and his ears too. Yesung can't take it anymore and whimpered louder. After few seconds it turned into painful distressed wailing. He starts to cough and suddenly sees through tears in his eyes that his papa is here. Then pair of strong hands gently grabbed him around chest and lifted him. Yesung pressed himself to warm body of his papa who stroked his sweaty hair. Yesung feels that he is being carried somewhere and suddenly dim light filled his eyes. He whimpered again and closed his eyes. Then he smells floral scent of his umma and pair of softer hands grabbing him under armpits.

Yesung wants to say that he is feeling icky but his umma and papa see that their baby got sick. Siwon hurries to get an ear thermometer to check his baby's temperature. Yesung starts to cry more when he feels that something is touching his tender ears. He is blindly trying to push the thing away but umma only holds his head and Siwon can put tip of thermometer in his ear. Yesung is coughing while his umma and papa exchanged worried looks. Yesung has a fever so Siwon goes to get some medicine and Heechul wants to go cold towel but Yesung clings to him and doesn't let him go. Siwon got both things and nudged Yesung's lips with teat of a bottle. Yesung whined because they are annoying him. He wants to sleep so why are they bothering him? His papa is gently rubbing his back and umma tries to give him the bottle again. This time they succeed and Yesung starts to suck. He tastes that the formula is different but it helps to his sore throat. Yesung finished half of the bottle when he suddenly feels nauseous. The formula rose up and Yesung vomited on his umma. Yesung coughed few times and starts to cry again. Siwon quickly lifted him and hurries to wash him while Heechul starts to clean their bed. After few minutes they are trying to give him medicine again. Yesung swallowed it and then only coughed few times. This time it stayed in his tummy and Siwon changed his diaper. Then Heechul swaddled him and laid him in bed between them. Yesung is coughing for rest of the night and he is often whining. It is long night for them and morning is even worse. Yesung has runny nose and his eyes are swollen and glassy because of his high temperature. Heechul has to work today but wants to stay home with his poor baby. Siwon almost forced Heechul to get dressed and leave because he was sick very recently and he is still quite weak. Siwon is alone with their cranky baby who only cries. Siwon carries Yesung on in his arms and bounces him. Yesung is still weakly crying because everything hurts so much. He angrily glares on his papa who stroked his sweaty hair.

"What about small breakfast?"

Siwon sat Yesung in his highchair and cooked plain porridge. He put the bowl down in front of Yesung and wants to feed him but Yesung spitted out every spoon. The porridge is running down his chin and Siwon gave up, they will end with bottle of formula. Siwon lifted Yesung again and walked in the living room. He sat down on couch and turned on the TV. Then he brings teat of the bottle to Yesung's lips who refuses to latch.

"Just a tiny bit baby!"

Yesung's small fists hit Siwon's chest and he kicked around. Why is everyone so annoying?! He isn't hungry, he just wants to feel better. Siwon sighed and swaddled Yesung. He laid his ill baby in crib and gave him a pacifier. Then he put cold small towel on Yesung's forehead and closed the curtains. Now his baby has darker room, so he can sleep a bit longer. Yesung is sucking on pacifier and watches his papa who is humming a soft melody while stroking his hair. Yesung finally fell asleep and Siwon sneaked out of the nursery. Yesung sleeps for few hours when he woke up covered with cold sweat. He isn't feeling better and he hates to be alone. Yesung whined few times and Siwon hurries inside his room. He lifted his small baby and kissed his cheek.

"I know that you are in pain but stop being so cranky baby boy."

Siwon is bouncing him up and down and walked downstairs. It is time for trying to eat again. Siwon made another bottle of warm formula and gently pushed the teat between his lips. Of course that Yesung starts to cry but he needs to fill his tummy.

"Do you want churros baby?"

Siwon knows that it is Yesung's beloved sweet treat and his baby nodded.

"Then you need to drink this."

Yesung slowly sucks and Siwon is gently patting his diapered bum. After the bottle Yesung doesn't feel like eating something more. He is covering his hurting ear and watches his papa who is trying to cheer him up. Siwon is trying to play with him, sings to him and does much more but nothing works. Heechul is back and cooked soup for Yesung who only ate few spoons and then started to cry again. Siwon is completely exhausted and lifted the crying baby. He carried Yesung upstairs into bathroom and ran him warm bath. He will wash him quickly because he has still a fever, but he can't leave Yesung sweaty. Siwon sat him in the warm water and Yesung starts to shiver in cold. Yesung angrily splashed water on his papa who took of his now wet shirt. Siwon quickly bathed him and dried him with towel. Then is time for super quick diaper change and Siwon lifted him. Suddenly Yesung's cries stopped and Siwon thinks that maybe he is only tired. But no, Yesung has still open eyes. Siwon doesn't know what caused that he stopped crying. He is now shirtless and holds almost naked Yesung on his chest and somehow it calmed the distressed baby. Heechul is staring at calm Yesung and gave him pacifier. Siwon laid down in bed and Heechul throwed thick blanket over them. He watches Siwon with Yesung still laying on top of him and then go to take a shower. Meanwhile Siwon hugged Yesung to press him closer to his chest and smiled. Today was really hard day. Yesung was crying almost nonstop so now he is thanking to God that Yesung is calm.

Heechul took a shower and came back. He whispered to Siwon to hand him Yesung so he could take a shower too. Heechul carefully laid Yesung on his naked chest and the baby lifted his head. Heechul stroked his hair and together they are waiting for Siwon. But how they could stay awake when they are cuddling so closely after warm soft blanket? Siwon came back to slightly snoring Heechul and Yesung who is sucking on pacifier.
