Even though it was against the rules to leave the dorms after ten pm, Hitoshi Shinso would take a walk every now and then when he couldn't sleep. So almost every night to be exact. To avoid getting caught by any of the teachers, if they happened to look out a window, he would walk in the forest surrounding the school. Unfortunately he had to turn back early due to the fact that a light drizzle of rain had started. Shinso could tell that it was only going to get worse. The insomniac stopped at the edge of a small clearing to look up at the cloudy night sky. As Shinso was about to continue his walk back to his dorm he noticed a figure in a grey hoodie and ripped black jeans sitting in a tree on the other side of the clearing. The figure's golden eyes almost seemed to glow in the night, Shinso recognized them almost immediately, they belonged to the infamous loud blond Denki Kaminari.

Denki Kaminari shouldn't have been as surprised as he was to see Hitoshi Shinso wondering about the school grounds at midnight. Kaminari was hoping that Shinso would just give some sign of acknowledgment and leave, but as he walked across the clearing in Kaminari's direction, he knew that wasn't going to happen. Taking his eyes off of the male walking towards him Kaminari looked back up to the night sky, hoping Shinso would take the hint and leave. He did not.

"What are you doing up this late?" the purple haired insomniac asked as he stopped at the bottom of the tree to look up at the blond perched in it.

"Couldn't sleep." Kaminari replied, telling only half the truth.

"Well it's raining, you should head back to the dorms."

"I know." Kaminari said while continuing to look up at the grey rain clouds hiding the moon, but making no move to climb down from his perch in the tree.

He had hoped that Shinso would finally take the hint and leave, but to the blonds dismay, the boy only sighed and climbed up the tree to sit on the open branch next to Kaminari.

"What are you doing?" He asked, finally taking his eyes from the sky to look at Shinso.

"You seem to be acting weird, so I'm either going to sit here until you tell me what's wrong or until you head back to your dorm." Shinso said, watching Kaminari from the corner of his eye.

Kaminari was startled by Shinso's response, but he was enjoying the unwanted company.

Shinso had no idea where any of this was coming from. He only liked rainy weather when he was inside reading or catching up on school work, even then he still didn't particularly like the rain. So the fact that he had climbed a tree in the middle of a rain storm, that was only getting worse, to sit next to a person he barely knew. Shinso had only known Kaminari for about two months but something about this obnoxious blond that interested him. He didn't know what or why but Kaminari was normally so carefree, happy, and overflowing with energy. So seeing him this calm, relaxed, and almost sad was weird. Some time later when both boys were soaked through from the rain, the silent blond was looking up at the sky again finally spoke,

"I normally just come up here to calm down and relax." he said.

Shinso didn't know what to say, he wasn't the best at comforting people, or even holding a conversation.

"I don't know why you decided to sit with me, but thank you." Kaminari said, before falling asleep against the trunk of the tree.

Normally Shinso would have woken the person up and made them walk back to their dorm themselves, but something came over him so he carefully picked up the slightly smaller boy. Once Shinso had the sleeping blond in his arms Kaminari reached his arms up and around Shinso's neck.

"You owe me." Shinso muttered, slowly climbing down the tree and starting the walk back to 1A's dorms.

When they finally got back to the dorms, Shinso was exhausted from carrying Kaminari through the woods. After getting to the boys room Shinso tried to lay Kaminari down on his bed, but Kaminari half woke up just long enough to cling to Shinso and sleepily say,

"Please stay, just for a little longer."

If he hadn't known any better Shinso would have sworn his heart skipped a beat. Being too tired from the long walk to say no and walk back to his room in 1B's dorms, he climbed into bed with Kaminari. After a few minutes both the boys, still in their wet, rain soaked clothes, fell asleep loosely holding on to one another in their sleep.
