Late Nights

Chapter 8

After about an hour of talking on the phone, Mina and Kaminari had both started begging their partners for chicken nuggets. Hagakure agreed almost immediately, then Mina suggested a double date. Kaminari was slightly flustered by the idea, but continued begging his new boyfriend.

Two hours later, Shinso found himself dressed and sitting at a table waiting for the group's order to be called. The other three were happily talking with each other, Shinso wasn't paying much attention, he was busy scrolling through his phone and watching a few random videos. Once the order was called Mina popped up top go get it.

"You look bored." Kaminari pouted, turning to face Shinso.

"Hm? Oh I'm fine." He replied, putting his phone back into his pocket.

Kaminari searched Shinso's face for a moment then booped him. Shinso's face scrunched up a bit, making Kaminari laugh. Mina walked back up to the table with the tray of food.

"You guys look so fricking adorable!" Mina exclaimed, sitting back down next to Hagakure. The invisible girls hat bobbed up and down as she nodded her head in agreement.

Kaminari stuck his tongue out at the two girls, a slight blush rising on both of the boy's faces. Shinso grabbed his and Kaminaris' food, sliding it across the table in front of him.

"Hey that's mine!" Kaminari protested.

Shinso ignored the blond, and instead grabbed him by the waist and pulled him into his lap.

"Hitoshi?!"

Kaminari's face turned beet red and Mina started laughing. Shinso kept one arm around Kami's waist, and used his other to grab his burger and start eating. A few moments later Kaminari started eating his chicken nuggets, still quit flustered. Mina and Hagakure took a couple pictures when they thought we weren't looking. after about an hour of eating and talking, everyone was done eating and just sitting at the booth, contemplating what to do next.

"Toru, can we go to that new amusement park?" Mina suddenly asked.

"Oh yes that sounds super fun, you guys should come too!" Hagakure suggested to the boys sitting in the booth across from her.

"Yes!" Kaminari practically shouted.

"Sure, sounds fun I guess." Shinso responded. It has been awhile since he had been to an amusement park he had realized.

Once at their destination and signed in, everyone was huddled around the map that Hagakure was holding. After a few minutes of planning the route they were going to take, Shinso was actually getting somewhat excited. A few rides later they arrived at the fun house full of various rooms, some lit by black lights, slanted funny, with turning tunnels, and just weird rooms in general.

"Come on let's gooo!" Kaminari called, grabbing Shinso's hand and practically dragging him into the house.

The first room had bouncing floor tiles, causing the blond to stumble into Shinso.

"Sorry." Kaminari quickly replied.

"It's ok." Shinso said, laughing slightly, he gave the boys hand a small squeeze and they kept walking.

The energetic boy made Shinso take pictures with him in practically every room. Normally this would have annoyed Shinso, but he was having a surprising amount of fun. In the last room, another black light room, Shinso felt a tug on the back of his shirt. He turned to see Kaminari shyly looking at him, before asking,

"Could we..." Kaminari stated before trailing off, too shy and embarrassed to finish his question.

Shinso knew what he was asking. He pulled Kaminari towards him, and gently grabbed the back of the shorter males neck, his other arm around the boys waist, lightly kissing him at first. Kaminari put his arms around Shinso's neck and kissed back. Shinso tilted Kaminari's head back and gently bit the males lip, in a way of asking for permission to enter, which he got. Shinso slipped his tongue in, Kaminari let out a small surprised noise and practically melted in Shinso's arms.

Hearing the group of people who were walking through the house behind them, laughing in the other room, they broke apart, slightly out of breath. Shinso looked down at Kaminari and took satisfaction in seeing that the boy was a hot mess. After waiting a moment for him to regain most of his composure, they walked out of the fun house and met up with Mina and Hagakure, who were waiting for them outside.

"What took so long, did you guys get lost?" Hagakure questioned when she saw them walking towards her and Mina.

"No, Denki just wanted to take a bunch of pictures."

Mina was too busy eating her ice cream to take a closer look at the boys, and point out how they had obviously done more. Seeing as Kaminari was still flustered, and both boys had somewhat messy hair.

"On to the next ride!" Mina exclaimed, standing up and taking Hagakure's hand.

Shinso couldn't see her, neither did he have the same sense of awareness that Mina did, but he would have bet some good money that she was blushing.

The sun was starting to set, and Shinso had just handed Kami the violet bear he had asked Shinso to win for him at one of the carnival games, when Mina popped up behind them. Hagakure came running up to them a few seconds later.

"We should go on the ferris wheel before we have to leave!" Hagakure said, jumping up and down, clearly excited to do so.

When they finally arrived at the ferris wheel the line was almost non-existent since the park was closing. Mina and Hagakure got on first, once the next seat came the two boys got in, seated comfortably next to each other. After their first go around of sitting in silence, Shinso turned to Kaminari, and whispered three words that he meant with everything that he was,

"I love you."

"I love you too." Kaminari whispered back. Then leaned in, closing the distance between the two of them, sealing some sort of unspoken promise between them with a kiss.
