3rd POV:

After everyone bowed down to the Emperor and he has taken the first bite, everyone else started to eat.

Lelia could barely eat anything without dropping it because her hands are so sore.

It was worth it! After only three copies, I was able to get thirty pieces of gold for each copy. Lelia thought happily.

On the other hand, Glinda was panicking. She was forced by Lelia to sell those books. Although she got fifteen pieces of gold, half of what Lelia earned, she was still terrified of what the Emperor would do if he found out.

Theo came in through the door before bowing down and coming closer to the Emperor so he could whisper something in his ear. The Emperor's face seems to set its self on a glare that rested on Lelia.

Oh no, Lelia and Glinda both thought at the same time.

"Everyone out except for Lelia." Amilios almost yelled out which caused everyone to shake in fear and do a quick bow before almost running out of the room.

"It was all me! Don't blame Glinda." Lelia admitted with a huff.

"So you know what you did wrong?" The Emperor mocked.

"I know what I did but I don't think it's wron-" Lelia stopped her sentence once she saw how truly mad he looked.

"Fifty whippings! twenty-five for each." Amilios commanded.

The guards made their way to do what the Emperor said and Glinda keeled down and begged him for forgiveness.

"I said Glinda didn't do it! I forced her!" Lelia said loudly.

Glinda tugged on the bottom of Lelia's dress to try and stop her from taking all the punishment but it was too late.

"Fine. Fifty whippings for you." The Emperor yelled as he stood up and banged his fist on the table.

"A bit dramatic if you ask me," Lelia whispered to Glinda.

"You're not thinking business and that's the problem," Lelia said while walking closer to him so now she was in front of him.

"Here, sit let me explain." She said and Amilios slowly started to sit down, curious about what she has to say.

"I did this for you!" Lelia said.

I know it's not good to lie but I'll say anything to keep myself from getting those whippings, Lelia thought.

"....And for me too. BUT It's mostly for you!" She said with a bright smile.

"Explain," Amilios demanded.

"Look you said many young ladies like you right? Well, why not make ALL the ladies like you? I write these fantasy books about how great and gentle you. I benefit because I'm earning money and your benefit is becoming more popular and being the talk of every region." Lelia explained. She held her breath, scared that he will find out that she's lying and she's only writing for money.

"I'll give you 10 percent!" She quickly said before he can say anything.

"You're using the Emperor's name and all you give is 10 percent?" He asked.

"... 10.5 percent...?" She asked hoping that will satisfy him.

"80 percent." He demanded while looking forward. He obviously didn't need the money but he was curious how far she's willing to go and do for money which he noticed she loved so much.

"No way! I'll make up a character if I have to and stop using your name." She threatened while pointing her finger at him.

He got a hold of her finger while glaring at her, "40 percent! Including I'll accompany you everywhere!"

She called out just as quickly as he held her finger.

The Emperor thought about it for a second. If she was with him all the time then he could find out what sure has planned for his kingdom. It'll be a good excuse to keep her around and study her carefully.

"Fine." He said.

"Really?"

"Should I go back on my word?"

"Of course not!"

"An Emperor never goes back on his word anyway."

They bickered back and forth.

"I'll come to your study room during the morning and then we can go on from there. Okay?" She asked.

The Emperor nodded his head. Lelia turned around to leave before stopping midway. She can't leave without any proof of this agreement.

"Let's write the agreement first and then we can come up with rules as we go." She said after turning back around.

"Here you write." She smiled innocently at him because she couldn't write anymore with her bruised hands.

After the agreement was written which clearly stated who gets what percentage and one rule so far of asking the Emperor to read the book before it's published, they both signed it. Using some ink and their thumbs, they stamped the agreement.

"Let's make another one so I can't keep one and you can keep the other." Suggested Lelia.

"Don't push it." Amilios glared at her.

"Can you stop glaring? It's kind of annoying. Who constantly glares at their wife like you? Emos, do you glare at your wife?" She asked in an annoyed voice.

" I... I don't have a wife." Emos replied.

"Really? Why not?" She asked. She knew everyone got married at a young age according to her story so she couldn't remember why she didn't give Emos a wife too.

"....Your highness, I'm a eunuch." He said as if that explained everything.

"So...?" Lelia asked wanting an elaboration.

The Emperor tapped on the table getting her attention and saving Emos from any more embarrassment.

"Come to my study tomorrow morning. We can write the second one then." Amilios said.

"Fine! Goodnight!" She said.

Lelia got up and left the room without any more words with Glinda following her after bowing down.

Could she really be that innocent?... Ha! What am I thinking? According to my people, she has done that with the fourth prince. Amilios thought.

"I'll be at my study doing some country affairs," Amilios said when he got up and left the room.

Tomorrow shall be interesting
