Chapter seven

"Ben's going to propose to Mal today". I smiled as I sat next to Uma on the beach.

"Good for her". Uma mumbled with an eye roll and I chuckled.

"Sorry, i know you don't like her". I smiled, looking at the teal haired sea queen.

"As long as I see you happy, I dont care what you talk about". She smiled and I blushed.

"Do you ever wonder what Harry and Gil are doing right now?" I asked and she chuckled.

"All I know is that Gil must be irritating the shit out of Harry". She laughed.

Just then my phone started ringing and it was Evie.

"Hey E". I smiled while answering the call.

"Vallory, where are you? Mal and Ben are in their way to the front of the kingdom". She yelled over the noise in the background.

"Sorry, I lost track of time. I'll be there now". I panicked and hung up he phone before standing up.

"I'm sorry, I have to go! I'll see you later". I told Uma, kissing her cheek and running towards the Castle.

"Sorry I'm late". I smiled sheepishly as I stood next to Evie.

"Where were you?" She scolded.

"No where". I answered quickly and she furrowed her eyebrows.

"Here they come!" I blurted out, trying to distract her and she gasped looking over at the couple.

Doug started the band up with music and I smiled at my sister as she walked onto the platform and smiled at everyone.

"Oh stay!" Fairy godmother told her and she stopped.

"Stay here?" Mal asked.

"Yes". She answered.

" Bippity Boppity, one two, one two. Can everybody hear me?" Fairy Godmother asked into the golden mic.

"Yes". Jane laughed as the crowd cheered.

"Ben!". She smiled, handing the king the mic.

"Thank you, Fairy Godmother. What's up, Auradon!". He yelled and the crowd began to cheer louder.

"Thank you! Thank you so much for coming out to welcome our new arrivals. They'll be here soon". Ben announced and I smiled.

"It worked out pretty well for the first four". He added and Evie squeezed my hand.

"Yeah, especially for you!" Chad yelled somewhere in the crowd.

"Mal, this is the exact spot we met not so long ago. I feel like I've known you my whole life. But did i mention, I'm in love with you?" He spoke and I couldn't help but roll my eyes and his cheesiness.

Doug started playing the guitar as Carlos and Jay came up to us.

"I met this girl, who rocked my world like its never been rocked and now I'm living just for her and I won't ever stop. I never thought that it could happen to a guy like me, but now look at what you've done, you got me down on my knee". Ben sang as he bent down and my sister gasped.

"Mal, its you and me. Its you and me forever. Will you marry me? Will you be my Queen?" He asked, opening the ring box.

"Yes!" She cried out and I smiled as the crowd erupted into cheers and applause.
Ben slid the ring on her finger and got up to kiss her.

"Makes our movie night seem a little tame". Doug commented towards Evie.

"I love yo-.. Movies". She cut herself before she could admit to him her true feelings.

I gave her a weird look, before rolling my eyes and going towards Mal, who was hugging Belle.

"What! Did you know?" She exclaimed, pulling me into a hug just as Evie appeared.

"Everything". I shrugged and she gasped.

"You are going to rock that crown". Evie smiled.

"Okay, so I've only done a thousand sketches of your wedding dress, and Belle's already planned an engagement party". She added.

"Good thing she said yes". I commented, making Mal laugh before going over to Ben's parents.

"Vallory, what's wrong?" Evie asked, when she saw the look on my face.

"What?" I asked, snapping out my thoughts about that being Uma and I.

"You look upset". She answered and I gave her a fake smile.

" Why would I be upset. My sister just got engaged". I chuckled and she gave me a look.

"I'm fine, Really". I assured her, before following everyone towards the limo and climbing in next to Carlos.
