Hi guys! There was a lot of confusion on my last chapter so I just wanted to clarify what happened. First off, there are two parallel universes, one with Ladybug and Chat Noir. One without, which is the one where Marinette moves to Shanghai. So Vix drugged Marinette to send her on the plane, telling her mother she fell asleep and they needed to leave now. They took a plane the was designed for medical patients. All of the people on the plane were either patients, doctors, nurses, etc. Kait was a patient who had a stroke on the plane, thus waking Marinette (who went into a panic attack) and in order to calm her down Vix had to sing her back to sleep. The identity of the old lady is up to your imagination. So when Marinette wakes up her soul returned to its rightful body, her old memories replacing the ones from the days she was in the alt universe. When Tikki asked about their last location, she knew that was the missing thing they were looking for. With fear of finding Chat Noir's body and scarring Marinette forever. Also when someone dies in one of the alternate universes, they remain alive in a different. The Adrien you know is currently still in the world without Chat Noir and the Marinette you know is in the world with the bug and cat duo. Feel free to comment any other questions! Happy reading :)

When Tikki found her other half laying on the ground, weak and helpless, she rushed over... noticing the collapsed boy to his right. What did Marinette know that no one else did? "Plagg.." Tikki whispered, shaking Plagg's small body lightly. The aroma of burnt skin filled her nostrils, making her nauseous. "Plagg.. you can't end like this." Tikki reminds him, whispering only load enough for him. The small creatures moaned a little, his body flinching in pain. "I need to get you back to Marinette."

"No!" Suddenly Plagg's eyes fly open and dart to Adrien. "A-Adrien..." the god of destruction whispers, looking at the limp body of his owner. "Adrien, please.." he begs shaking, slowly beginning to fly again. "No. No, no, no, no, no. WHY DIDN'T YOU DO ANYTHING, TIKKI?! WHY DID YOU NOT SAVE HIM?" He begged, now looking at Tikki. It wasn't his fault. It couldn't be his fault. It had to be someones fault. "Adrien..." Plagg sniffles, glancing at the ring. He goes up to the hand slowly, it was cupped... slightly open. The blonde's mouth was agate. The kwami snuggled himself in the hand, little warmth was left. "I will miss you, Adrien." He cries, his tears wetting the hand. "They tell us kwami's that it is impossible to love... but you Adrien... you were an owner where it was impossible not to love you." Tikki felt her breath in her throat at Plagg's words. Kwami's weren't supposed to fall in love. It is said to be a painful goodbye... and as Tikki watched Plagg say things to Adrien that would be lost to space and time, Tikki realized the love in her heart, too.

"Plagg..." Tikki whispered as the kwami slowly closed his eyes. "We need to get you to Marinette," she glanced at Adrien. She would anonymously message the Agreste family about the location of the body. She felt bad leaving him there... Marinette's other half... but she didn't have a choice. She felt her connection to Plagg diminishing with each second she waited. "You'll be awake in no time Plagg, I promise." And like that, Tikki slipped off Adrien's ring... Plagg disappearing with it.

And to lighten the mood a lil bit.

Adrien was unsure about the new changes to school. The way Nino and Alya didn't sneak glances at each other. When Mylene didn't get picked up by Ivan for a hug. The way Ms. Bustier looked like she had nothing to live for. From what he remembers, the class would great him warmly... a picnic at the park. Even Chloe would go. Yet, Adrien sat at a desk alone. A vacant seat next to him. The entire class was full of nothing but silence, no giggles, no intimidating looks. Without an akuma, it was a lot harder to tell what everyone was feeling. "Mr. Agreste?" The auburn haired teared calls.

"What?" Adrien shot up from his place in a world he would have sworn was real.

"I asked you what your opinion was on the line between fiction and fantasy." She reminded him, her eyes squinting as she walked over to him.

She was never this cruel before..

"Well- uhm. I think that if a fantasy is realistic enough it can become a reality. Like..." Adrien thought, "how in the 1600's they wouldn't have believed in cars that drive by themselves." The blonde finishes, receiving an approving nod from the teacher as she continued with her lesson. When Adrien's phone buzzed moments later, he immediately thought it was an akuma attack. He needed an excuse... quick.

"Mr. Agreste." The teacher reprimanded again, looking at the blonde student. "Would you like to explain why you are standing during my teaching?" She asked, receiving multiple giggles from the normally quiet classmates.

"I'm sorry Ms. Bustier, I just really need to use the restroom." Adrien lied. He didn't need to use the restroom, he had done so an hour ago at lunch. She nodded, Adrien rushes out of the classroom quickly, making it seem urgent. Although when Adrien closed the door to the classroom he was surprised to see a message from Clair and not an akuma alert, He continued to walk to the bathrooms, head buried in his phone.

"Mind watching where you're going?" A voice interrupts his constant searching for something about Ladybug.

"Oh er- sorry." The boy says, not lifting his eye from his phone. The girl scoffs and continues on whatever she was doing. Adrien suddenly sits up from his hunch back position, realizing how rude he had been and slides his phone into his pocket, turning around. "Listen- that was aa jerk move. I am really so- Kagami?" The boy was stunned to see his favorite fencing opponent standing there in school clothing.

"How do you know my name?" She demands, rushing over to him. She was holding her backpack to his neck which wasn't as intimidating as her eyes.

"Heh- Lucky guess?" The blonde lies.

"Yeah. Lucky." The girl says, walking away.

"Hey! Don't you want to know my name?"

"No, not really." Adrien was expecting to hear answer from her, but he wanted friends. He sighed and turned, walking to the bathroom.

Was this going to be how it was from now on?
