“Kyen!” It’s Mr. Raff Santo Domingo, the most famous bad boy in the entire Davis Gregory University. He’s bothering me again. He really thought that I’ll fall in his trap, no way. I’m not that kind of girl who is fascinated with the physical appearance of a boy.

I’m Kyen Zion Grandé the stone-hearted girl in the whole campus. No one has ever got my heart yet because I’m only 18. And I never had a boyfriend since birth. And if you’re thinking that I’m ugly, no. I got the perfect procreating. Thanks for my mom and dad. I don’t actually amuse those suitors, not to be rude but their just a pain in the ass. And this Raff thingy really think that he’d get me. Not in a million years.

“What?” I answered emotionlessly.

“Nothing! HAHAHA! Bye!” he ran off together with his obnoxious slug friends.

“Dirtballs.” I muttered.

I started to walk to the canteen and bought a bottle of water. I waited for Kirby and Lulu there. After a moment they both arrived. Lulu sat beside me and Kirby in front of us.

“So, still getting annoyed with those bugbears, right?” Kirby asked me.

I nodded.

“They really want a piece of me?” Kirby said holding his fist. He is really protective to me and Lulu.  He’s cool too. He knows how to treat a girl right. I’ve never known anyone like him since then. But it doesn’t mean that I like him. I’m just really glad that Kirby came into my life as a friend.

“Hey, hey, hey, sit down okay?” Lulu said.

“Hey Kirby, stop it. It’s no use.” I added.

“You heard her. So, settle.” Lulu taunted.

“Ladies, I gotta go now; my team is waiting for me. Just watch our match tomorrow, okay?” Kirby said and went off.

“Kyen, he likes you.” Lulu said.

“Who?” I asked.

“Kirby.”

“Are you sure?”

“70% sure.”

“Whatever.”

“Can’t you feel the way he deals with you?”

“No?”

“Or maybe you just really don’t know what it is?”

“What?”

“Maybe you should try to like someone.”

“I’m not in the mood to do it.”

“Why so bitter?”

“Nothing. I just don’t like being in love. I’m only 18 how can I truly feel it?”

“You’re turning 19 next month. So you’re gonna be matured enough.”

“Okay. But I won’t pursuit it; I just let it emanated to me.”

“Okay fine.”

“It’s almost time. I got to go now.”

“Okay. Bye! Are you free after dismissal?”

“Maybe. I’ll just text you. Why?”

“Shopping will you?”

“Oh yeah I forgot. It’s Friday.”

Lulu and I couldn’t miss any Fridays without hanging out. Kirby sometimes comes with us if he has his free time. He’s always busy with his teammates in basketball. If he hasn’t a practice right now, he is surely be with us later and will probably treat us to watch movie. We don’t go in expensive restaurants like other rich kids do, rather, we spend most of our time eating in a fast-food restaurant, enjoying every bite of greasy foods especially fries and buttered chicken.
