Raff

I heard something smashed on my door. This made me feel more annoyed. Seeing Kyen with that Kirby really annoys me. Kyen’s a lot happier their than here. I really can’t take it. And much worse, I’m expecting her to come to apologize for the second time to assert that it is sincere but I got nothing. There’s another banging sound on my door and that made me to get up and check on it.

When I opened it someone fell into me, luckily I’ve got my balance. When she look up to me I recognize it that it’s Kyen. She’s really wasted and cute.

“You’re drunk?” I said in disbelief.

“Almost a yes.” She answered me with a sheepishly smile. This woman is truly annoying. I couldn’t believe that she’ll answer that worthless phrase to me.

“Oh, God. You’re drunk, Kyen. I’ll take you inside.” But still, my kindness couldn’t take the situation so I carried her inside.

“You know me? How? I don’t even know you. Aha! Stalker, right? ”she said and I tossed her into my bed. So, where am I supposed to sleep now, on the carpet? No way.

What the hell is wrong with her? She doesn’t know me. She’s just drunk and she didn’t get an amnesia banging her head against my door. She’s really weird in so many ways. To uncover her secrets, I kept on answering her.

 “Hey, stalker….. takeee…meeeeee… to the…..beach. I…will…..sleeeep there.”

“I’m not your stalker. That will never happen. And I met you under the sea. You were with Ariel and Sebastian looking for a towel. And yes, I know you. You’re peevish, sarcastic, weird, funny, wild, drunk, and oblivious. Why can’t you feel that I’ve got this thing for you? Why are you so cold towards me? What did I do wrong to make you really mad at me?” I mumbled. She snuggled cutely with my pillows.

“Do you know Raff?” she asked me. Of course I do, it’s my name and it’s definitely me. I took my phone and tap the record app.

“Who’s Raff?” I asked her.

“Raff Santo Domingo.” She said sluggishly.

“Why? What’s up with him?” I inquired.

“No big deal. But seriously, I hate him because he always pisses me off.”

“Aww, that’s bad. How?” I asked him like I’m not me.

“Some sort of stuff like he’s so despicable. Like he doesn’t…. know how to treat me right.” She said like she’s in her usual condition.

“So, you’re mad at him because he is wicked?”

“No. I’m mad at myself.” She said burying her face in the pillow.

“Why?”

“Because I can’t help myself not to like him. The more you hate, the more you love, isn’t it? Wait, why do I talk to someone whose face is unclear?” she grinned at me with her eyes closed and passed out.

What the—was it real? The thing she said? I can’t believe it. It’s like I’ve been dreaming. What if she is just goofing around? I can’t just make believe with a person whose drunk. I’ll be like a desperate like crap.

I took the bottle of champagne, the one that Kyen was holding, and snuggled into the couch. I did the bottoms up because I’m too sleepy to overthink. Time passed by and I was too dizzy and my vision was spinning too. I finished the champagne.

“She’ll be mad of me for sure.” I smiled blankly and tried to stand up but I tripped. I get near to the bed and found Kyen sleeping soundly. She’s sleeping in my bed. And where am I supposed to sleep, on the couch? No way. I paid for this room and I have the right to sleep in this bed. I’m getting selfish here. And if she’s not gonna move out, then I think she wanted it to share it with me. I threw myself beside her and watched her sleeping. She’s really peaceful.

“Hey,” I poked her cheeks but she didn’t budge, “I love it when you sleep, like seriously.” I chuckled because she’s just so cute and pretty. After I studied her aspects, I slowly closed my eyes and went to sleep.

“Oh my God!” I woke up and realized that someone’s beside me and he is holding me tight. I couldn’t see his face because I was facing the wall and he’s on my back. My heart thumped fast and really nervous because I can’t remember anything last night but the bonfire only.

I tried to squeeze myself out and saw the surroundings. I know where I am. I’m in Raff’s room and he’s behind me, wrapping his own around me and we slept together last night. No way, why didn’t I grasp it? I’m so stupid and inconsiderate. What if something awful happened to us last night? I’m not so sure. And I started to panicked.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” I screamed to the top of my lungs and got up. Raff also woke up and immediately got up.

“What the—what’s wrong with you?!” he whined in sleepy way, “can’t you see I’m sleeping?” he nestled in his pillow.

I shook him off because I don’t know how I got here.

“How did I got here?” I asked.

“I can’t believe you can’t remember anything.” He said, still his head buried in his pillow. I tried to dredge up everything last night but all I remembered was when I’m still at the beach partying around the beacon.

“I can’t,” I mumbled and raised my voice, “just tell me!”

“Okay, okay. Don’t panic too much. You got here because you were standing in front of my door and you didn’t stop banging it. So I got pissed and let you in. Clear?” he explained.

“Why didn’t you just take me to my room?”

“Because you’re damn drunk and wasted.”

“So what’s the point there? Why didn’t just you take me into my room? Don’t give such reasons that I’m drunk and wasted.”

“Because something might happened to you there. And seriously, you look funny when you’re drunk.” He winked at me. I pitched a pillow at him and annoyed him.

“You’re a maniac!” I shouted.

“What? I didn’t do anything that’ll make you mad.”

“You just did!”

“As far as I know, it wasn’t my mistake here. So don’t blame me.”

“Whatever!” I got up and started to walk towards the door.

“You’re going out with that appearance? You look horrible. Even your dad won’t recognize you.”

“You can’t be freaking serious.” I rolled my eyes I walked in front of the mirror and saw reflection. He’s right. I look dreadful. My hair is disruptive and my face is worn-down. My clothes are dirty and I’m embarrassed to this slug. This is really disgusting. I need to have a shower, “can I use your shower?” I asked shyly.

“There you go.” He gestured his arms towards the shower room. I walked directly to there without saying any words. “Hey, do you have your clothes?” he asked smiling defiantly at me. I turned to him and smiled ironically.

“Really, do you really need to ask for that? Of course I don’t have.”

“Oh, sorry. I’m just wondering if you want to use mine.”

“No, I don’t want to use your clothes. I need them!” I cried and walked to the shower room.

Being in the shower was awesome. I like doing it especially when I’m worn-out. I looked for the shampoo but when my eyes landed on it, it made me feel like I can’t use it, it’s for boys. I spotted the soap and recognize that it’s for boys. Oh good, how can I finish this shower without even using shampoo, conditioner, and soap. I have no other choice but to call on Raff.

“Raff?” I shouted from the shower room.

“What?” he answered.

“I need my shampoo.”

“I’m gonna get it. Just use mine.” He said. There, I have no option but to use it.
