Chapter 5

Jungkook opened one of the double glass door infront of the cafeteria, ringing the bell. The other workers heard the bell and looked at the doorway only to see Jungkook. They all bowed at him in unison before letting him go to the kitchen. They all stared confused at each other, not knowing why the alpha was there.

Is something going on with the boss and the alpha?

Jungkook saw Jimin wearing an apron while baking. It was the most husband thing he ever saw.

Jungkook knocked on the door, catching the older's attention. He turned around before getting an inviting smile from the older, "You're right on time Jungkook, here try this"

He offered a plate of fresh single slice blueberry pie to Jungkook which watered the other's mouth. He picked up the fork and sliced a bite size before shoving it to his mouth.

He suddenly stopped munching and his chin wrinkled making Jimin worry, does it taste bad?

Jungkook took another bite and groan in amusement. "Shit this is the best blueberry pie I've ever tasted!" His brows furrowed in adoration like he's about to cry. Jimin hit the other's arm lightly startling the alpha. "What was that for?"

"You made me worry for a moment, I thought it tasted bad" Jimin said earning a sheepish laugh from the younger. Jimin let out a small laugh before offering another plate but it's now a chocolate coated fudge bar.

Jungkook excitedly tasted the bar and the next thing he did startled Jimin a bit. He started jumping and pointed on the food, "this! THIS! this is so good!"

Jimin awkwardly laugh before thanking the other. He gave another plate and it's the single sliced cheesecake, the one that Jungkook ordered when he first entered the cafe. Jungkook's eyes sparkled at the food, it's his favourite.

He carefully tasted the food and this time, he finally cried. Jimin panicked at the younger's sudden reaction. "What? What's wrong?"

"It's-.."

"It's what? Jungkook you're making me worry" Jimin furrowed.

"Hyung, it's so good" he looked up at Jimin with his glossy eyes and a pout. Jimin's face scrunched and sighed, "Jungkook I think you're overreacting. You're startling me seriously"

"I- Oh my I'm so sorry, I just got too excited" Jungkook bowed in regret and embarassment, he just can't control himself if it's about food. "It's fine, you don't have to bow. I have plenty of food for you to taste so calm down" Jimin chuckled and gave the other more plates with different food.

This time, Jungkook tried his best to control himself and thankfully succeeded.

Sometimes, Jungkook would act goofy just to make the other laugh or give compliments at how good his baking is that'll make Jimin blush. That moment where Jimin and Jungkook lowkey bonded while sharing food made them even more close. Casually asking questions to know each other more. Slowly getting comfortable with skinships like patting each other's shoulder, ruffling hair, pinching nose or cheeks or even wrapping an arm on another which Jimin would accidentally do when he's getting comfortable.

Ever since what happened during that cold weather, he felt some sort of comfort and trust towards the alpha and let him be the first alpha to touch him —not just hands but not any particular parts that made Jimin uncomfortable—.

Jungkook knew about that too and felt a little pride inside his chest for making an omega comfortable. He felt a little guilty too since he hugged the other back then without asking permission which is out of chivalry his parents taught him.

Here and there, they kept on giggling with each other or laughing out loud as they tell each other's embarassing moment.

Little did they know, the employers kept on peeking at them. Carefully checking them out and talking about how cute and comfortable they are with each other.

"I'm really happy for Mr. Park finally getting comfortable with an alpha" Beoju, a male alpha smiled and looked at his co-workers.

"He's not just an alpha but a trustworthy one" Seoyul added and chuckled.

"It's been 3 years and we never saw Mr. Park letting a beta nor an alpha touch him except his hands. Even his brother and father aren't allowed" Deono, a male beta sighed but also understand the omega.

"It's for defence also, he made a wise decision" Said Iseom, a female alpha and everyone agreed.

"Lol speaking of defence, remember when Deono tried to defend an omega over a cat because he thought the omega is scared at the cat but turns out the cat is scared of the omega and Deono end up getting scolded by the omega" Wina, a female beta laughed and everyone else laughed along with her while reminiscing the scene.

Jungkook and Jimin heard the group of laughter outside of the kitchen making them smile. "I guess they're having fun too"

"Surely they are. They're like my family and I don't know what to do if they'll leave" he sighed making Jungkook soften his gaze towards the older, patting his back.

"Hey hyung, I'm sure they won't leave you hanging here. They'll stay with you"

"You think so?"

Jungkook chuckled while shaking his head, "I know so"
