15: SEPERATE WAYS (MAYBE NOT)

RIDDHIMA'S POV:

"Care to explain? Why on earth did you beat them up?" I asked him, even when i knew the answer, because they teased me. But i wanted to know why! I mean his side of things. He looked at me with a playful smile, which i wanted to take down so badly. "Because they touched my shirt" is he even for real?? "They touched your shirt?? So you hit them??" i asked with confusion clearly evident on my face.

"Yeah, i mean i had just changed my shirt, and those guys were not something i would say as clean, even in biblical sense, so i didn't have the patience in me, to go change again, so i had to hit them and more particularly stop them from touching me" He said without even flinching, god he is a expert liar! "So you hitting them has nothing to do with them hitting on me?" I asked casually.

"They were hitting on you?? Just when i thought that people might have started actually having good taste, they go and hit on you? God! What has happened to men??" he sighed and drank some drink from his glass. Did he just tell ' don't flatter yourself, you are not that pretty?' i thought to myself. "Yes, i exactly told you that!" he said as if he had just heard what i had thought. I look at him with utter confusion.

"The dialogue was all over your face, did anyone ever tell you that you have very expressive eyes and face? They just speak even when you don't" he said and closed his eyes with a eye mask. God! He is truly one and only on this earth, no one is as bad as him, i am a fool to even think for a second that he is good, he just can't keep straight right?!

AFTER LANDING...

"Well thanks for the long ride, i appreciate it and i kind of owe you one, so if you need any help as long as it doesn't include me becoming a lawyer, i would love to help" I said, because unlike him, i have gratitude. While bidding him good bye i saw Misha holding a welcome board for me and waving at me vigorously! She is excited, i can tell that! 

"Hi Vansh, Riddhima i didn't know that you were bringing a plus one?" Misha said, why does she ever talk?? "No!! I mean he isn't my plus one, vansh is here on work, we just happened to come by same flight" I said answering the weirdest question. "Since you are here vansh, you and gautam really hit it off that day, he personally requested me to tell riddhima to bring you." at this point i just wished she literally stopped talking, i was running away from him after all the court fiasco and here she is pushing him back to me, before giving him that much time , to say yes,  i took my cue and said. 

"He is here for work, misha, so let him be, You don't need to attend" i said and we were about to leave. "Hey, riddhima? Actually i guess i will come, someone first time invited me as a friend and not as a business associate so i will come misha, text me the details. Riddhima has my number, ok ladies, its my cue, i need to leave" Vansh said and left.

"We both know gautam didn't really invite him right?" I said looking at misha. "I know you would ask this but since you are here, maybe you can finally switch off the airplane mode in your phone and check my messages which i sent about 15 hours ago, which is like wayyy before i even knew vansh was coming!" she said with a confident smile, so i checked. DAMN! She literally begged me in the chat to bring vansh over.

"But when?? They met like for like 2  hours tops, and they became buddies?? What did i miss??" i asked with utter surprise.  "I don't know , you know gautam right, he never gets connected with someone soo easily, vansh has some magic!" She said and we walked out to the car waiting for us.

VANSH'S POV :

"Good morning, sir, i am sam, i will be looking after everything you need for few days while you stay here." the guy introduced himself and walked me to the car. I was thinking about last few hours with riddhima, and damn! I love irritating her, small things tick her off soo easily. My thoughts were interrupted by sam. "Sir, we have reached your apartment, you can go and freshen up i will come in a few minutes to cook something for you" didn't know the guy can cook, impressed.

"Ya, fine" i said and walked into the apartment. Its been a while since i have been here. Feels like home and surprisingly smells like home too? "Rey, come out!" I ordered knowing that brat followed me till here. He came out from the bedroom, with a spatula in his hand, which shifted my eyes to the pancakes cooking in the pan. "Might wanna turn that? I don't want burnt pancake smell all over my house" I said and went in my bedroom to have a bath and freshen up. 

After a warm and relaxing bath, i head out the room checking my phone for messages, when i see someone sitting in the couch, a lady, rey!!! He must have bought someone! I needed some space and here? GOD!! Help me! "Excuse me, miss?" i called out and she turned around, it was riddhima???

"Miss me already??" i said with a smirk, which made her drop her smile, why can't she ever be smiling in front of me? She is always broody and oh wait! Maybe it has something to do with me irritating her? I laugh at that thought.

"You actually took one of my bags with you, i need it,right now!" She said more like demanded. "Chill, all the bags are in there, go and check it out" I said, i heard a circus in there, so as a gentleman i am, i decided to help, and entered the room, to find once a wonderful and clean room now as a mess!

"Can't you check properly??Let me check, you just stay away." she was walking back and forth when she bumped into the door and swung the door hard, that it closed. FUCK!!!

"Why did you do that?? That door was under repair, now we can't open it from inside! GREAT!!!" i said and sat down. "What?? Couldn't you have given the heads up, a little early?? When have you ever done something good since you have met me??" she was acting weird? I mean yeah she is angry at me always, but now she is just i don't know something is off about her, a while ago she was fine, what happened in 3 hours??
