Chapter 1

Alex's POV

I go out to Ryan's car and sadly get in the back seat. His friend Michael is in the front seat. "Hey babe." Ryan says not even looking back at me.

"Hi.." I say barely above a whisper. I'm upset because he doesn't pay much attention to me anymore. It's all about Michael. We get to school and they get out quickly and walk ahead of me.

I get out and try to catch up but the crowded halls prevent that. I finally get to the class but I'm late and this teacher hates my guts. "Sorry I'm late Mr.Parker.."

"It's alright little girl. Go sit in your seat." My hands clench into fists and my nails dig into my palms. Ryan laughs a bit but tries to hide it and that infuriates me even more. My own boyfriend is taking sides with the teacher.

"I. am not. a girl." I tell him through gritted teeth. What fun does this middle aged creep get out of debating my gender? Is that even allowed?!

"Sure thing Princess. Your body says otherwise." Okay he's gone too far. I don't have enough money for the surgeries. My minimum wage sucks. Wait did he say my body-

Now he's looking at my body. I feel uncomfortable I hate it here. I am about to leave when he says, "walk out now then you will go to the office."

"Fine then I will report your ass for what you said." I walk out and go to the office. When I get there the principle looks mad.

"You got kicked out of class again??"

"I walked out. But I have my reasons." I say and sit down.

"And what would that be?"

"He's calling me a girl when I'm not. I identify as a guy and go by the he/him pronouns. What's so hard to understand about that??"

"When he talks about you he uses those pronouns and you have no evidence to the way he is treating you so I can't act on it. I'm sorry. But you are suspended. This is the third time this week alone that you have walked out of class. I'll call your father while you get your things from your locker." I stay seated. I've never used my locker once. I don't have a need for it.

"Hello sir..I'm go to need you to come up to the school...yes it's about Alex..no nothing happened that hurt him..I just need you to come get him. Okay..okay..thank you." He says and hangs up. "He will be here soon Alex." I nod a little. He's going to be mad at me.

Fifteen minutes later both my Dads are in the office. Corpse is giving me the death glare and Sykkuno looks at me with an understanding look. I just roll my eyes. I can't deal with them right now I just want to be left alone.

"Hello. Your son has walked out of history class three times this week and is now suspended from school grounds for two weeks."

"Two weeks?! Isn't that a lot sir I'm sure he had a good reason to." Daddy Syk says to my principle.

"According to the teacher he just walks out but your son says it's for other reasons that haven't been proved."

"Whatever let's go." Dad says grabbing my wrist. I wince a bit. He looks mad..I feel that Daddy Syk is going to be more understanding here.

The ride home was silent. It was almost torture. But I know the disappointment coming my way will be way worse..
