The two of them were woken up early in the morning due to the doorbell ringing. America sat up dazedly and rubbed his eyes. "I'll get the door," he turned his head, the Russian hummed in acknowledgement as if saying okay.

America felt like he didn't look the best right now so he placed his sunglasses on and opened the door that was still ringing.

In the doorway was a familiar Chinese man, he seemed out of breath like he ran all the way here.

America felt amused and leaned on the doorframe with the side of his arm. "Weren't you out of the city just yesterday?" The American still had messy hair because he just woke up a few second ago.

"You stayed over?" He asked after pausing for a second. Before the other party could reply China continued, "nevermind you're dating anyways it doesn't matter, can I talk to Russia?"

Suddenly a taller male appeared in the doorway as well.

China's expression changed immediately to pissed. Russia let him in and the second he did China started scolding him behind the couch.

The Russian was absolutely confused.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me, who was it that taught you acting for all these years?? You kept it a secret for a month!" China looked like he was on the brink of slapping the taller male.

America sat in the couch in front of them and took a selfie with them in the background as everything unfolded. When he posted it he got a bombard of comments and likes.

'Lol what is China doing in the bg'

'My mans about to get slapped istg'

'Shouldn't you save your boyfriend? How cruel, taking a selfie instead'

As the yelling continued in the background he scrolled through hundreds of articles already covering the story and many people spreading the clip.

The doorbell rung again and it didn't seem like China was gonna let Russia go answer it so America did again.

This time it was Japan and South Korea, the two ladies looked more refined compared to China early this morning. America had yet to bruh his hair so it was still messy but he looked good either way.

"You cocky asshole!" Japan punched him in the gut but she didn't use any power so it didn't hurt. "I thought you liked someone else don't scare me like that."

South patted Japan on the shoulders and told her to calm down a little. "But... congratulations in any case." Japan stared right into his eyes which made him remember that one girl in his class that was always there for him during school and even until now.

"Thanks, do you wanna come inside?"

"That would be lovely." South responded, the second the two girls came inside they heard scolding. America asked casually, "do you guys want anything to eat? I'll make something."

South was about to accept before Japan slapped her hand on the Korean woman's mouth, "nope we already ate thanks for the offer."

...

A months had passed already and it was June already. America had been busy for the past few days and Russia knew that. He always sat at the living room with his keyboard and papers strewn around him. It seems he was busy composing a new song.

Their contact was minimized during this time due to how busy they were with their schedules.

"I'm gonna stay at my place for awhile, I need to brainstorm."

Russia took a sip of his coffee, "okay then."

At the American's place, he sat on the couch playing the keyboard and writing lyrics down. Ukraine entered the place.

"What are you doing? Don't overwork yourself, you just released a new song a few weeks ago. You have a packed schedule this week as well."

"Hey Ukraine, I guess you could say there's a deadline I have to meet for this." America greeted her.

Ukraine raised an eyebrow and sat next to him on the couch, picking up a piece of paper, she read through it.

"This is..."

"Yeah it's something for his birthday, I want to finish this on time."

"You know even if you didn't get him anything he literally would not care." She grabbed another piece.

The sunlight seeped through the curtain blinds, America yawned then cracked his knuckles and back, "don't worry I just wanted to do it."

The Ukrainian woman snickered, "you know he called me this morning, he was concerned because you seemed to be avoiding him."

America's expression softened and his face warmed up, "I see, then I'll finish this as soon as I can."

When he released it, it became a hit, shooting its way up to first place. It was a song that didn't seem directed at anyone but everyone knew who it was directed to, besides, fans remembered the Russian's birthday.

On the way to America's photoshoot he constantly checked his phone for the Russian's reactions but he didn't say a single thing, not even a good morning text message like he usually sends.

America was getting confused so he drove over immediately. Even then, he had to wait a few hours for him to even come home.

"When did you come over? I had a busy day sorry." Russia's expression immediately softened when he saw the shorter male on the piano. "Have you heard my new song?"

"Not yet..." he said a little guilty. "Listen to it then."

While Russia listened to the song, his expression went through a roulette of emotions. At the end he was red all over and was absolutely speechless. Any fan would be speechless after their idol made a song dedicated just for them.

He turned to the man on the piano who was smiling at him smugly. "Happy birthday."
