A night with Captain

Levi woke up early for his meeting with Erwin.

"Tsk.. this guy has been giving me a lot of assignments, making me work with some Military police huh?" He said to himself while fixing his cravat.

As he descend from the staircase, he immediately saw Gunther, Oluo and Eld having a breakfast.

"Good morning Captain!" The three greeted him.

"I wonder where is that gingered hair" he thought to himself.

"Good morning.. Where is Petra?" He asked.

Eld answered, "Oh, I think she is still sleeping, Captain. She's not feeling well yesterday"

Levi only responded with a nod and then leave.

I can feel the sunlight from my window hitting my face. I rise out of my bed realizing that it is already late. Ughhh!

After I rushed putting my uniform, I was about to go outside my bedroom. To my surprise, Oluo was there already.

Because of shock, I shouted at him, "OH GOD! WHY ARE YOU HERE?!"

I can see in his face that he was shock too seeing me at the back of the door.

"Geez, calm down! Captain Levi was looking for you a while ago" he responded.

"What time is it?" I asked, trying to look calm.

"Ehh.. it's lunch time" he answered.

I can feel my heart beating so fast. I'm sure Captain Levi will kill me.

I let out a sighed and goes to the bathroom for a while. I wash my face to look like I did not just came from the bed.

At the kitchen, I saw them sitting all together at the dinning table. What have I done. My life will end now.

I sit beside Eld and I can feel that everyone's attention is all on me.

Captain Levi broke the silence.

"Are you feeling well now?" He asked in a cold manner as usual.

"Oh.. maybe this 3 guys informed him that I am not feeling well... " I thought to myself

"Eh? I'm okay now, Captain. Thank you for asking..." I answered

The lunch was good. After Captain asked me, this guy Oluo started the squad's conversation. It was okay I guess? Seeing our squad complete at the dinning table, makes my heart flutter. I will spend my whole career with them, no matter what future awaits us.

I spend the whole day helping Gunther and Eld to do the chores. This is our routine when there is still no expedition.

After dinner, I went already to my bedroom. Hours have passed and I can't sleep. So, I decided to go in the kitchen and get some drinks when I notice the door at Captain's room is slightly open. Out of curiosity, I peaked in.

I saw him reading a book and beside his desk was a pile of paper works.

"This man must be tired doing this all night" I said to myself.

I decided to make him a tea. I'm quite nervous, Captain isn't that cheerful as I am. A lot of thoughts run down my mind while walking towards his room.

I take a few deep breaths and then decided to knock.

"Captain? It's me, Petra..." I can feel my body shakes as I waited for him to respond.

"Come in.." he responded.

He is still facing his book and then ask, "What brings you here at the middle of the night?"
