OC x Rengoku Kyojuro [REMAKE]- "Thankful for you "

Chapter 13.

That whole moment with Kyojuro left me with a bitter-sweet feeling in my mouth. I couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment off of me. I really wanted to kiss him. This is absolute nonsense! What would my mom think?! I bite my nail frustrated as I hold my haori walking through the estate. I bump into 3 small girls with butterfly pins in their hair and I look down at them.

"Oh. My bad."
I move next to them and bow. Before I could continue going they thug on my skirt and look at my haori.
"Do you need this sown?"
"Uhm, yea. You guessed it."
I hand them the piece of haori and the clothing itself. They all laugh excitedly and leave. I was left without my only piece of fabric that kept me warm in the forests. I put my hands on my hips and sigh.
"Well, shit."

I keep going around anxiously, waiting for my crow to announce the mission I'm going on. I sit down on a bench in one of the halls as I stare at the wall painting and decor. My leg bounces up and down. I nervously cross my arms and puff my chest.
"I kind of look like Kyojuro."
I look down then back at the decor. I couldn't get him out of my mind. This felt just a little wrong. I close my eyes and concentrate. My heart was racing but as soon as I took a deep breath and controlled my breathing my whole system calmed down. In a way, this was better than dissociating in nature. I exhale and smile. My crow soon flies in and speaks up loudly.
"Chō Hikari! There's a demon attack in the nearby village! Caw! Your assistance is needed immediately! Caw!"

I get up and grab the bird quickly as I rush out of the mansion. I jump on the roof and let the crow fly up.
"Lead me there."
The crow makes a sound of approval and starts to fly towards the location. I keep my eyes on it and my surroundings, making my way swiftly through the scenery. I kept my focus on the bird, trying to catch up to it. It was really difficult to pay attention to the trees around you and a flying crow. I take a deep breath and launch myself at a tree and make my way on top of it. I jump from branch to branch, keeping my balance. The bird was still faster. Soon it stopped on a nearby tree and I followed. I sat on the branch and looked over at the village . Darkness surrounded the forest and scenery. I could hear distant screams. I froze but my crow bit my cheek.
"Fight! Caw!"
I shoo it away and jump off the branch into the village. I unsheathe my sword and furrow my eyebrows.
"Breath of Harmony, 6th Form: Blinding Lights."
My eyes light up as I make a few whips with my sword. I light up the darker areas of the city as I run around. There were weak demons everywhere trying to feast on humans.
"Breath of Harmony, 2nd Form: Flicker."
I slash around as I run from house to house and from roof to roof. I grab a vial of blood and throw it from above. It hit the demons under me, dissolving them right away. I fall down and advise the people to go inside.
"Everyone! Go inside as fast as you can! I won't let a single demon touch you!"
I shout as I defend the citizens from alley to alley. I huff, getting tired from the repetitiveness. Soon I reach the center of the village where I'm met with 3 bigger demons.

They were in the center of attention. They stood out more than the weaker ones. The biggest one turned around and smirked, licking the blood off of his hands. My eyes widen and I stop. The other 2 demons followed as they turn around holding a dismembered corpse. The scene was so horrific it almost made me gag.
"Ah. So they brought a silly little slayer. That's no fun~"
The bigger one speaks.
"How unfortunate! They're going to die!"
The other 2 spoke up at the same time. I clutch my sword and grit my teeth.
"Don't underestimate me."
I get into position. They all laugh at me and smile creepily.
"This is going to be easy!"
The 2 demons spoke up again. I groan in annoyance. I charge at them.
"Breath of Harmony, 9th Form: Spiral Abyss."
I launch myself, spinning at them. I manage to land a hit on the 2 demons. Their wounds transmitted to one another. They were connected somehow. Maybe they're twins? I stop spinning and land on my feet. I exhale as smoke comes out of my mouth.
"Breath of Harmony, 3rd Form: Windwhirl of Chaos."
I launch at them again, creating a strong current of dust. I pounce at them and hit them from above. I cut the bigger demon's head in half. He smiles as both his sides form a creepy smile.
"Andrius!"
The twins spoke up.
"So your name is Andrius, ay?!"
