Mom. chapter 22

Normal pov~
"Stop it" was the last thing Natsu, Wendy, Laxus and Gray heard before blacking out...
August and Larcade turned to the voice.
"Mom!?" August mumbled loudly enough for everyone to hear.

Mavis pov~
I heard August calling me... He remembered me.
I spread my arms indicating him to reach me out for a hug but... He didn't, all I saw was tears forming on the edges of his eyes.
"Why have you came here?" He asked me sternly regaining his posture.
"I have come to complete our family again".
"What did she mean by again brother? Who is this women?" Larcade questioned from behind.
"She......." August paused for a bit "she is my biological mother and your made mother just like Zeref".
Larcade eyes wide opened but didn't spoke out a word..
"What do you mean by completing our family again mom? You left us without even turning back for once and-" he was cut off by my harsh question.
"Do you know the reason?"
He looked at me in silence and shook his head.
"Do you know that I m dead standing infront of you?"
August and Larcade's eyes widened.
"Do you know that your father and I was cursed by the God of death?"
They were completely speechless, and all they could do is look at me with those speechless eyes.
"Let me tell you the true story of your past life" I continued "we were cursed by the God of death because we wanted someone dear to us back to life. We tried to break the nature rule of natural death. We were just friends back then when we got this curse and then we started our journey to break it and go back to our normal life. In that journey we both slowly fell in love with each other but tried to ignore it.. and finally the day came..... When we couldn't hold back our feelings anymore and confessed" .
I saw August had a hope bleaming in his eyes to know his parents beautiful love story.
I continued knowing the fact that it will disappoint him soon "but that was the last day of my life... By the time we knew that love is the remedy of the curse but I was scared to show my true feelings and confessed him with still some feelings holding back but Zeref couldn't hold it back and loved me with all his heart and that was the mistake. His love overtook my curse of eternal life".
(The curse: living an eternal life but if you love someone he/she/any living beings would die immediately).
Zeref couldn't take my death anymore and decided to see every living creature as mere insect. He made certain books of demons that could kill him and Larcade was one of them.
He took both of you and wanted to create a new world destroying the current one.
His first moves of destroying the world was stopped by Dragon Queen Aquametica.. by the time fairy tail already made a hollow projection of my little life still left on my body. Aquametica knew that Zeref would come back again so she gave all her powers to Stella and sent her to the other world so that she can protect this world in the correct time..... But you two... Followed the same path as your father and slowly killing the saviour of this world. You didn't even think for once that if your father's plan succeeded then no one would have been alive.. NOT EVEN YOU". I took a deep breath.
August fell into his knees and put his hand infront of his face. He began to cry like a baby.
I ran to him putting my arms around to embrace him with all the mother love he missed all these years.
"Mom... I-I missed y-you so much.. I m sorry mom" he sobbed in my arms.
"It's okay August... I know it wasn't your mistake. We can stay together and atone for the sins-" I was cut off by a huge thrash of light.
Lucy's star light attack from behind already hit Larcade behind who was going to throw his attack on us.
But.....
It was already too late. The attack already hit August and slashed his back.
He fell on my lap, I was all in a shock... Everything happened all of a sudden when a wet hand of blood embraced my cheek "it's okay mom, I guess this was my punishment for all my doings. Now I can peacefully live with my parents in heaven" and his lifeless hands fell of.
His face had a peaceful smile, with blood all over his body.
