Chapter 8

I was awoken by my loud alarm clock going off I quickly hit snooze. I was so tired, and sore from last night. My body ached from all that running I did, my stomach hurt from being punched, and I was exhausted. I got out of bed, and started getting ready for school ( Slowly). I was really sore I was trying to get Marcus hurt so he couldn't fight, but instead both of us ended up getting hurt. This was not apart of my plan at all. I had to still fight though I got to stick to the list. I put on some rings so my punches will hurt a little more, and then I walked to the bus stop. I got on the bus, and went to school. When I was at school I went to the cafeteria that's where we planned to meet for the fight. I walked into the cafeteria, and scanned the room for Marcus. I didn't see him anywhere his ass probably backed out the fight. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around.

"Well hello you actually showed" He say

"Boy I'm the one who set this up what you talking about."

"Whatever, but anyway some people last night tried jumping me know anything about that."

"What you mean you blaming me for that"

"I just asked a question that's all"

"Well I don't know what your talking about"

"Umm I think you do"

"Prove it then"

"I will"

"Doubt it, but anyway is this fight happening or not."

"Oh were going to fight alright"

"Then let's go"

"You hit first"

"Alright"

I punched him in his stomach first for punching me in mine last night.

"Ahh ouch" He whin

"What you whining for?" I ask

"Mr. Robinson you see I told you she was out to get me." He say looking behind me

Then I saw Mr. Robinson are school principal come up behind me.

"Rose you are in a lot of trouble come with me." Mr. Robinson say

He walks pass Marcus, and tells me to follow him, and I do. As I pass Marcus he whispered to me.

"Haha that's what you get for messing with me."

I gave him a hard push, and continued following the principal.

When we arrived at the principal's office I sat down in front of Mr. Robinson's desk, and he sat at his desk.

"Ok now can you explain to me why you punched Marcus in the cafeteria just now?"

"Uh we were about to fight"

"Why when you know I don't allow fighting at this school?"

I had to quickly make up a lie to cover my ass.

"I punched him, because he had hit me once before, and I promised myself the next time I saw him I was going to beat his ass."

"Ok whoa wait he hit you?"

"Yes he did so Mr. Robinson are you really going to punish me when I was only protecting myself. It was self defense even though it didn't happen at the moment I punched him doesn't mean I wasn't protecting myself. Now he know not to put his hands on me again this is a lesson Mr. Robinson."

"Humm I understand, but before I do anything are you sure. You are telling the truth aren't you don't lie."

"Mr. Robinson please don't say anything you'd just going to put me in even more danger say nothing."
