Chapter 10

I woke up to a empty, quiet room all by myself. I looked out the window, the sun was shining bright into my room, it was morning. I sighed, I hadn't been here a full twenty four hours yet, and already ready to leave. Its not like I'm sick or something it's just a broken leg, and I'm feeling better. So why can't I go home? If I need to I will blow up there call alerts, I will tear my call button up, but doing that probably won't do any good either, but it will piss them off. Ughh, and I'm bored I don't have my phone, because I see my mom took it in my sleep. I laid back in my bed, and turned on the tv. I turned to bring it, because that's my show, and I turned it on just in time too the dolls were just about to start the stand battle which is my favorite part. As I watched it a nurse came into my room.

"Hi Miss. Rose how are you doing?"

"I'm good"

"Good is your leg getting worse, better, what?"

"I think its actually getting better"

"Good"

"So will I be able to go home any time soon?"

"Well I don't know about that."

"Why? I'm fine its just a broken leg not that big of a deal."

"Actually it kind of is if you hurt your leg any more than you already have you might not be able to walk again."

"What? Are you serious?"

"I never lie to a patient so if you want to keep walking you'll let us do are job. You need to rest your leg."

"Ok fine, but can you at least give me an estimate for when I might be able to go home."

"Maybe tomorrow"

"Tomorrow?? So your telling me I'm going to have to stay a whole night/day in this place."

"Umm honey you just slept a whole night in here, and almost a day.. Almost."

"Ugh my life"

"Its not that bad just hang in there"

"Thanks"

"Your welcome, but if you need anything just call me."

"Alright"

The nurse walked out the room, and closed the door tightly behind her.

I continued watching tv when I saw my mom coming in with my dad, and this boy who I had never seen before, but I can't lie he was cute.

"Hey honey how you doing?" My mom ask

"I'm good mom wass up dad I haven't seen you in a while."

"Hey sweetheart I know I haven't seen you I've been busy sorry."

"Ehh its fine I guess I understand"

"Yeah, and Rose this is your cousin Darrell y'all have never met, but that's my fault I should have introduced you two earlier. But me, and your mom wanted you to have somebody to stay here with you while we're not here." My dad say

"And where are you two going? Your not staying?"

"Oh now you want me to stay before you said you wanted to be alone. You had the nurse kick me out remember." My mom say

"Mom I wasn't in the best mood"

"I wasn't either"

"Ok Rose we have to just go out, and do something real quick we'll be back." My dad cut in

"Do what?"

"Something"

"Something??"

"Nothing just chill here with your cousin"

"Whatever, and can I have my phone back?"

"What you need it for?" My mom ask

"Well what if I get released and need a ride home you never know."

"I doubt your getting released today"

"You never know"

"Ugh fine your only getting this, because your in the hospital." My mom say handing me my phone

Then both of my parents left the room

"So how you doing?" Darrell ask coming over to me, and sitting on my bed

"Ehh good I guess what about you"

"Same just been chilling, but I can't believe we never met man." He say staring at me

"I know right I never knew about you, but hey I do now."

"Haha yeah, but you cute though"

"Oh really" I say flipping my hair laughing

"Haha yeah"

"Well you cute too"

"Cute??"

"Alright fine"

"Thanks"

"You look kind of cold if you want you can come lay up here with me under my blanket."

"Nah its alright"

"Come on its soft"

"You just want me to come up there with you don't you."

"Yeah kinda I need a cuddle buddy. I mean I know we cousin's, and all, but there's nothing wrong with having a cousin as a cuddle buddy right?"

"Nah I guess not" He say getting up, and coming to lay with me

He got under the covers with me, and he was big, all muscle. So we laid there bodies touching, I rested my head on his shoulder.

"What is you watching?"

"Bring it"

"Do we have to watch dancing?"

"Well I guess not, what you wanna watch?

"Anything, but this my sister watches this show day, and night. I get tired of watching  dancing dolls everyday of my life."

"Ok fine we can change it"

"But if you wanna watch it you can"

"Nah its alright this a re- run anyway I've seen it already. Here you pick something." I say giving him the remote

"Alright umm.. Ooo let's watch a scary movie. Do you like scary movies?"

"Duhh love them"

"Awesome let's watch Insidious"

"How do you know its on tv"

"When I was home this morning I saw it was coming on at this time."

"Oh ok well lets watch it then"

Darrell turned too the movie Insidious I had already seen it, but I liked it so what the heck I watched it again."

"Are you gonna be scared?" Darrell ask

"Nope I don't get scared over movies"

"Lies"

"Whatever"

"Mmhm well Shh I'm trying to watch this movie."

"You Shh"

"Shh" he say loud

"Shh"I say louder

Then we both busted out laughing, and then laughing turned into smiles.. At each other.
