Drunk Apology - Bang Chan

"Binnie... he is home late again..."

"Again? I get that the comeback is near but it's 3am!? He should at least be home by now-"

"Can we meet for drinks? I need to let it all out..."

You tried to hold back your tears. You have been with Chan for a few months now. He did warn you about his schedules and stuff and you were fine with it, but this was the latest he has been out at work for. It angered you that he wasn't taking care of his health well enough and sleeping later and later each day.

You sighed and grabbed your phone, wallet and keys. Wiping your tears, you locked the door and headed for the bar.

Arriving at the bar, you parked your car and saw Changbin waiting for you. You smiled and entered the bar together. Just to set things clear, you both were friends ever since college, and now he was Chan's group mate.

You both ordered some drinks and sat down. You were seated near the entrance, so when the door opened, you both would naturally turn to glance at who'd come in, which you instantly regretted when you saw the man you didn't want to see today. Chan walked in and made eye contact with you, which you immediately broke by turning to face your drink, ignoring him.

Changbin did the same, which confused him. He walked to the empty seat next to you and ordered a drink. You both paid him no attention and faced away from him, continuing with your drinks. You all sat in silence, drinking and drinking till Chan got a little drunk.

Drunk Chan leaned his head on your shoulder. You turned your head and saw his head, but decided to ignore it.

"Y/N Baby why won't you look at me? What did I do?"

Changbin looked in shock. This was the first time he had seen his hyung acting all child like to someone. He stood up and told you he was gonna head back first. You nodded and thanked him before turning back to your phone.

"Baby..." he shook you, "Talk to me please. I can't stand you ignoring me..." you stood up and paid for your drinks before walking out to your car. Chan quickly paid for his and followed you out. You both were able to hold your alcohol well but Chan was still a little bit drunk than you were.

You were about to enter your car when he grabbed your hand, holding you back from driving away. "Bang Christopher Chan, let go of my hand and get in the car. We will talk at home." you said firmly and got in. He quickly got in and sat next to you in silence. He knew he probably messed up badly and was in deep trouble when you both got home.

Time skip to at home

You removed your shoes and went to get a glass of water. Chan followed behind obediently and waited for you to start talking. When you did not speak, he started getting worried. "B-Baby please tell me what's wrong..."

You turned around to face him, eyes slightly tearing up.

"Why do you keep staying up till late at night huh? Do you not care about your health anymore? Changbin even told me you have been skipping dinner for work! Are you crazy? Do you know how worried I am!?"

At this point, your tears started rolling down your cheeks. Chan looked at you, guilty. He messed up. He promised to take care of himself and come home early every day, but he broke the promise...

"Y/N Baby I'm sorry... I was just too focused with work that I did not notice how long I had been working... I promise! I promise I won't do it again ok? Please don't cry... I don't want you to cry because of me."

He walked up to you and gave you a hug, patting your back to comfort you. He finally realised how worried you must've been on top of your own work. He carried you to your shared room and set your bed. He glanced at the clock. 5.34am. He sighed and got in bed with you.

"Baby, let's skip work today ok? I'll call in to our work later and ask for a day off. We shall spend today together ok?" he wiped your tears away.

You nodded and yawned, eyelids slowly closing. "Don't stay out too late again... and don't skip meals again... I love you Channie..." you said before falling asleep.

He kissed the top of your head and hugged you to sleep.

"I love you too, my baby..."
