*There Is No Place Like Home - Kim Seungmin

You have been married to Seungmin for 4 months, and life was perfect. You and Seungmin rarely had disagreements, but even so, you fixed them quickly. He was very caring and understanding, knowing how stressful your work could be.

You were coming home from work as usual, body aching from having to sit at your desk for hours typing away. You always looked forward to coming home and being with Seungmin, because you know that he would spoil you like a child.

Twisting the key clockwise, you pushed the door open and removed your shoes. "I'm home~" you shouted while locking the door. You heard the patter of footsteps getting louder before a pain of warm hands snaked around your waist. "Welcome home babe. How was work?" He rested his chin on your head and waddled with you further into the apartment. "It was tiring as usual." You said.

He kissed the top of your head before removing his hands from your waist. "Go wash up. I'll go make dinner ok?" You nodded and pecked his cheeks before walking to your shared bedroom to wash up.

•𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿•

You walked out of the bathroom in an oversized tee and some shorts, your hair wrapped up with a towel. Opening the bedroom door, you were met with Seungmin who looked like he was about to enter the room. "Oh you're done! I was about to inform you that dinner is ready." He flashed you a smile before grabbing your hand and walking to the kitchen with you.

You sat down on the seat across him and looked at the spread in front of you. "Wow" you said, "this all looks so good!!" You looked up at him and smiled. "I'm happy you liked it. Dig in then." He took his chopsticks and picked up a slice of meat, putting it down on your plate.

•𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹•

You both were washing up the dishes together while talking about your day. You wanted to wash the dishes as he had cooked, but seungmin insisted on washing the dishes, so you both compromised and did them together. Laughter filled the kitchens as he told you funny moments he had with the members during practice today.

After washing up, you decided to watch some YouTube videos on your television. He held your shoulders and led you to the couch, seating you down before sitting down next to you. You both cuddled until your eyes started closing slowly. He noticed it and turned off the television, carried you to the bedroom and carefully placed you down on the bed.

He kissed your forehead and tucked you in before going to take a shower and joining you in bed. "Good night Y/N. I love you." "Good night Seungmin. I love you too~" you pecked his cheeks and slowly shut your eyes. '𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦' you thought, drifting off into dreamland in Seungmin's arms.
