Past Lover - Hwang Hyunjin

"Y/N please... Don't leave me." "I'm sorry Hyunjin, but I can't... I'm sorry, but believe me, I didn't know..." You couldn't do this anymore. You couldn't bear to watch him bleed out anymore, so you kissed his tears away (under his eye) before leaving him there alone to die. "Y/N..." He called out one last time before he lost consciousness.

"Y/N!" Hyunjin screamed as he sat up on his bed. Tears were streaming down his eyes. 'Again with this dream... Who is this Y/N anyways. Why do I keep dreaming of them?' he thought. Frustrated, he got out of bed and washed up for school.

"Y/N! You are going to be late for the first day of school if you don't wake up now!" Your mom screamed from the door. You sluggishly got up from the dream. Unlike Hyunjin, you remembered everything that happened from your past life. It was a rare case, but it probably happened because you regretted something from your past life, that's why you still remember everything. It's cool, but scary too.

Getting dressed for school, you looked into the mirror and wiped away any remaining tears. "I'm sorry Hyunjin... I'll make it up to you in this life." You whispered before going downstairs for breakfast.

•𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹•

Hyunjin walked into school, his cold demeanor catching the eyes of many once again. He was used to it, I mean it happened everyday but he just walked to his class, ignoring the many girls and boys swoon over his looks. He hated it to be honest. He wanted to be known for his dancing, not his visuals(TAKE NOTE EVERYONE).

Walking into class, he sat down at his usual seat behind the class. It was next to the window so that he could look out during lessons. Did I mention that this man was also the top student in school? (well now I did) Taking out his books and pencil case from his bag, he looked out the window, thinking of the dream he had earlier.

"Good morning students. We have a few things to settle today, so please pay attention." The teacher said while settling down in the class. You stepped into class and walked over to the teacher. "We have a new student today. Please introduce yourself." "Good morning everyone, I am Y/N, and I hope we can all get along together!" You smiled. "Alright I hope everyone can treat and help Y/N well. Y/N, please sit behind Hyunjin at the back." He pointed to the blonde at the back, who was looking out the window.

You walked over to the boy and said a small 'Hi' before sitting down and taking out your laptop for class. Smiling at Hyunjin's back, you thought about how lucky you were to finally have a chance to make things better between you two, whether he remembers or not.

Hyunjin's POV

Y/N... that name sounds familiar... but I can't seem to wrap my finger around it...

Hyunjin rested his head on the table and dozed off...

"Y/N!" Hyunjin screamed again, waking up to an almost empty classroom. He looked around and sighed, not noticing the shocked you behind him. "Hyunjin? Is something wrong?" He jumped after hearing your voice. Whipping his head around to look at you, he quickly jumped from his seat and hugged you tight. "I missed you Y/N... I'm so happy I can finally see you again..."

You felt your shirt get wet but you didn't mind. You wrapped your arms around the male in front of you and patted his head and back.

Hyunjin's POV

-10 minutes ago-

After falling asleep, the dream came again... this time, more was revealed... Apparently I am Y/N's lover. Y/n was a princess at the palace, while I was just a commoner. She met me at a village wine house one day when I saved her from a drunkard. Ever since then, she would come write letters to me and meet me secretly. Her father, the King, soon found out and threatened to kill me if she did not stop meeting me. Of course, she kept it from me and continued meeting me.
