"Ugh! Where the hell is my heeled boots?" I screamed from my closet
It was 7:30 a.m. and we hadn't even had breakfast yet. We were getting ready and I simply couldn't find my favorite pair of heeled boots.
I really wanted to use them and could swear I had left them with the rest of my clothes, but now they weren't there and, as always, I was losing my patience. I turned my closet upside down and still couldn't find them.
Chloe was on the other side of the room, with the doors open, trying to find her toothbrush. She hasn't finished unpacking yet, so there are a lot of boxes and bags around her room, she can't find anything.
She stopped when I screamed about the heels and some seconds later she was right behind me.
"These boots?" she said, swinging them in her hand
"Yes, these ones. Thank you" I said getting up from the chaos that once was my closet and taking the boots "Where did you find them?"
"They were behind your backpack" She said going back to her search
"Why don't you get a new brush?I have some in the bathroom cabinet, under the sink. We can't be late."
"Okayyy..." She said, tiredly, while closing one of her suitcases
Five minutes later we were walking downstairs, ready to take breakfast as quick as possible and decide in which car we were going.
"Good morning juniors" Jason said playfully from the kitchen as soon as he heard us
"Good morning Jason" Chloe said with a genuine smile, managing to sound a bit less flirty then usual
"Good morning breakfast guy, what's on the table for today?" I said playfully, stealing one slice of bacon, before J could place it in the plate
"Well, let's see... we have pancakes, some fruits and.... drums please" I started hitting my index fingers on the wood counter "BACON!" he exclaimed loudly
