It was a dark but lovely Sunday morning Virgil, the Lord of the supposedly 'badlands' was feeling a bit under the weather for he liked the darkness lots more than the day time. No other kingdoms knew there was a Lord of the forest as nobody dared to find out but, the Kingdom right beside his own knew about him because he had to meet up with King Thomas (Not Thomas Sanders just couldn't think of a name) for some meetings about his lands and how it was a danger to their Kingdom. But Virgil knew different. He knew that his so-called 'Kingdom' was not in any way harmful to the other Kingdoms around him. But since no other Kingdoms wanted to find out the beauty that the 'horrible' forest held he had kept to himself and all the creatures had become his family. They were all happy with the lives they lived.
~Virgil's POV~
That was until I met a boy who had stumbled into the forest on accident picking flowers and berries for the pastries he had in a little basket he carried on his arm. I decided to introduce myself to this boy.
"Oh hello there!" Patton had said waving the hand that didn't hold the basket.
"Hi?" I was unsure if he was an intruder or a friendly person just passing by.
"My name is Patton. It's lovely to meet you.." I could tell he was asking for my name so I replied
"Virgil. Virgil Storm. I wanted to know why you are in my land? Also how old are you? I want to make sure you aren't trying to kidnap me or something like that.." I was being cautious but I didn't really know how to phrase my sentence without seeming sceptical.
"Oh yeah I can understand why. Well I am 18 and I am not going to harm you or your land.. Hold on your land? OH I'm so sorry I was trespassing I didn't even realise!" he apologised clearly he had never heard of who I am.
"It's quite alright. Now I am the Lord of the 'dark' forest and I am 16". I was smiling a tiny bit at the boy or man.
"You're so young yet your ruling?! Wow well I'm sorry lord but I am a bit lost.. Well I don't have a home so I've been out collecting my own supplies" I could tell he was sad but he hid it with a smile. I looked up at the taller guy and I decided on something.
"How about you come live with me!" I was happy but also a bit afraid that he would not accept my request.
"Oh that will be so lovely! Thank you" He bowed.
"No need to bow just because I am the lord doesn't mean you have to treat me like this" The truth is that I don't like to be treated kinder than the other people I like to treat fairly. It is better in my opinion but I know some people would not agree.
"Oh and keep to first names please I would like to be treated as a normal guy no formal talking for me!"
I spread my wings because they were getting cramped at being curled up behind my back for too long and to my discomfort they needed to breathe.
"Go find any hut you desire just make sure nobody lives in them and I'm going to go to stretch my wings and look over the forest for any harm or damage that I need to attend to". I walked off slowly lifting my wings and soaring right up into the grey sky.

This will have a lot of POV switches and the chapters might not be very long.
