~Virgil's POV~
It has been a week since Patton got introduced. A very long one at that. Quite frankly we get along very well although he does not like swearing so i'll have to swear in Cozo (A language only the people of the dark forest knew, it's just Spanish) so he doesn't know.
I bet sooner or later he would realize why I'm saying a single word in another language but we will just have to wait. Patton isn't bad to hang out with, he is a great cook and wants to start his own cooking business or a cafe, something like that. But he reckons that he wants to start it here, not at his home village, but here? I'm confused. Why would he want to start his business here when all creatures don't eat human food. Well I do but that's because i'm only part fairy/pixie, but that doesn't matter.
I still live off the food. I'd eat when I was a young(er) boy just living with my mum and dad playing with all the pixies and fairies. I want to go back, change everything and I would actually have a life outside of ruling and maybe just maybe I might have found love by now. But I can't so I'll just stay the lonely, parentless, teen Lord. I still do love being the Lord even outside of all these things.
"¿Cómo estás joven Señor?" One of my childhood pixies asked.
"Estoy bien. ¿Cómo estás Tams?" I asked Tams, a nickname for Tammy. I have to say his parents like weird names.
"¡Estoy bien, joven señor! Gracias". Tammy was a kind pixie but he is too polite. He won't call me by my name. Ever since I became Lord he has been acting like I was someone important. (I'm definitely not one though)
"Tams, sabes que no me gusta que me llamen Lord, por favor llámame por mi nombre". I was a bit agitated but wouldn't let that show.
"¡Oh, lo siento, Virgil!" I could tell he was genuinely sorry and it wasn't just because I was a Lord. I was happy about this.
"Está bastante bien, aunque tengo que ponerme en marcha ahora. Patton se va a perder". It was true last time I let him go around the forest he ended up in the home of Gaona, she was the dragon witch that everyone wanted to slay but she was a sweetheart inside. She never let that part of her show to anyone but me so I am glad I got that privilege.
"¡Está bien! ¿Oh Patton es el recién llegado?" He was genuinely surprised that I would care that he was going to be lost but why wouldn't I be, he is a friend now.
"Lo está, tengo que irme ahora, ¡adiós!" I shooted off mid sentence. I knew I would need to find him before he gets lost once again. I sighed and carried on looking for him over the treetops.
~Patton's POV~
*same day*
I walked around the forest and I stumbled across many strange creatures that were sweet and lovely to me, I wondered what these creatures do! So I started to ask around what creatures do around this massive place, then again it was a forest so I should have expected this. Most of them answered the same. I didn't understand them though because they were speaking another language. I had heard Virgil talk like this but never to me except a word at a time, I'm getting a bit suspicious about that but it's a different language so it could be a whole sentence, I wouldn't ever know! I don't mind.
-Oh, where am I?- I looked up and saw a flying Virgil. This wasn't a surprise since I've seen him but I decided it was best to yell since he was going pretty quickly.
"VIRGIL DOWN HERE!" I yelled as loud as possible and it caught his attention.
"Patton what are you doing out here? It would have been at least a three hour walk to get here."
"Really? It only took me an hour." I was confused at how on earth I knew how long it took. I was deep in though.
"Oh.. Well hop on my back it is gonna be dark in..." He looked at the sun. I was confused about what he was doing.
"It'll be dark in 10 minutes and it gets a bit spooky at night with all the creatures coming out."
"Oh, yeah that will be best" I climbed onto his back and he dropped a bit. It was expected since I was probably 2 times his size and weight. He still flew with seemingly ease but I knew that wasn't the case.
"MIERDA" He yelled and it caught me surprised. I just said nothing and he carried on flying but he was getting tired so I will make sure he goes straight (HA he could never) to sleep.
He did just that and I closed his bedroom door to head to my room from across the hallway. -I really need to decorate.. I want the door to be a lovely light blue and my name will be in white, spread across the door. I want to add a picture of glasses and a little heart, but there are no artists around here. Well I didn't ask anyone but I would know, I always do.-
At that note I got into my bed. -Goodnight Virgil, goodnight Logan, goodnight Roman...- I had fallen asleep.
