school again. a light bruise was still in sight. i sighed as i walked through the hallways, earning looks from people that passed by.

"woah, woah, woah! check it out, guys!" Ryder exclaimed in a loud voice, catching everyone's attention.

i glared at him and quickly did the combination to my locker. "1...2...2...5," my mind said out aloud as i turned the combination.

"Andrew here still has the balls to show up in school," Xander retorted.

"aw," Ryder cooed. "did mummy kiss your boo boo better?"

"at least i actually care for my mother, Ryder, and not push her aside whenever she tries to care for me," i said and looked him directly in the eyes. Jackpot.
