Y/N POV - I was walking to school just a typical Monday morning with my best friend Emily. Prom is coming up very soon and plenty of my friends have been asked including Emily. I remember the day she called me and how excited she was and she constanly talked about it and her face lit up whenever she talked about her date. He is the most popular boy in school his name is Minho. He is quite handsome but I have my eye on someone else... Thomas. He is nicest and kindest person you could ever meet and he is one of my best friends but I don't think he was going to ask me anyway he wouldn't go out with his best friend to prom and I know he doesn't even like me that way.
Thomas POV - I was planning on asking Y/N to prom today. I have had the biggest crush on her for a while now but I don't think she likes me back. But I only want to go with her no one else. I have had feelings for her since we met but I could never get out of the friend zone and she wouldnt see me in any other way, but I hope to change that today.
Y/N POV - It was finally lunch time and I was on my way to my locker. The weird thing is Thomas didn't talk to me all morning and we have all the same classes useally we pass notes or whisper to each other till we get caught but today he didn't once look at me or acknowledge that I was there. I got to my locker and opened it and a note fell out i wonder what it says...

Wow I can't believe someone wrote a poem for me he must be such a romantic. He seems generally nice and sweet from the note he gave me but i'm not 100% sure i'm so eager to find out who he is!
Thomas POV - I put the poem in her locker I hope she sees it. I worked so hard on it with a little help from my mom of course. I am currently waiting for Y/N in the gym and everything is ready for her balloons are all over the floor and I have a bouquet of roses her favorite and when she says yes a bunch of confetti will be shot out of a cannon and fall all around us I hope she likes it.
Y/N POV - I was almost at the gym. I turned the corner and when I walked in I saw Thomas dressed in a suit and tie and balloons were all over the floor and he had a bouquet of roses in his hand my favorite.
Y/N - Hi Thomas!
Thomas - Hi! Nice of you to join me on this wonderful occasion.
Y/N -Thank you Thomas Oh my gosh... I am so under dressed.
Thomas - No you look beautiful just like you always do. *hands you the flowers
Y/N - They are beautiful Thomas thank you! Soo you were my admirer huh? * You smirked*
Thomas - Yeah I was your admirer and I'm really nervous and I am sweating buckets in this suit.
Y/N - *you giggled* Why did you do this all for me?
Thomas - Well I've really liked you for some time and I knew prom was coming up. And how romantic would it be if our first date was prom?
Y/N - Very!
Y/N - Alright secret admirer why did you call me all the way here? *Your smirked knowing what the answer was*
Thomas - Well, Y/N M/N L/N would you do me the honour by going to prom with me?
Y/N - Yes Thomas!
Thomas - Oh thank god! I wasn't sure you would say yes! *he picked you up and spun you*
Y/N - Thomas! *you giggled*
Thomas - *he put you down* I have another surprise for you!
Y/N - Really?! Oh Thomas! * I hugged him*
Thomas - Cue Confetti!
Y/N - Huh?
Thomas - Just wait and see. *he smirked*
Y/N POV - Suddenly a bunch of confetti came down from the ceiling falling all around us then my favorite slow song started playing "Story of My Life by One Direction" I was so shocked when he grabbed my hand and we started dancing in the middle of the gym and the lights went low and coloured lights came on but not too bright.
Y/N - You played my favorite slow song!
Thomas - Yep and I remember when it came out and you were constanly singing it and dancing in the living room at my house.
Y/N - You remember that?
Thomas - Of course I do! I remember everything we do together.
Y/N - Aww Thomas.
Y/N POV - Thomas moved closer to me and he kissed me. It felt like I was on cloud 9 and I was never coming down. Butterflies were in my stomach and my heart was racing. He is my best friend and I wouldn't want my first kiss to be shared with anyone else except for him. We slowly moved apart and our faces were both red and we were breathing heavely.
Thomas - Was that your first kiss?
Y/N - Yeah.
Thomas - Mine too.
Y/N - Really never would'a guess *I smirked*
Thomas - *he smirked* Surprising isn't it! The only other people I kissed in my lifetime were my mom and my grandma and trust me they weren't anything like you.
Y/N - *I giggled*
Y/N - This is the best moment of my life and you made it come true Thomas!
Thomas - And you did the same for me and I'm glad your'e happy.
Thomas - I love you Y/N and I always have and I alway will.
Y/N - I love you too Thomas!
*You two continued dancing and talking and spending time wiith each other and held hands for most of the day thinking it was all a fairytale and none of it ever happened but it actually did, you are going to the prom with the best friend*
