Y/N POV - Me and Newt did not get along at all, I think he was one of the biggest jerks in the glade besides Gally of course. Him being second in command was even worse because he had to boss me around just as Alby does. but I didn't make it easy for him though I messed up all the jobs on purpose to get him mad which is funny i've painted the entire Homestead pink once and pulled a water ballon prank on him good times... good times. We were having an argument today because Newt was being such a shuck face like he always is and I had to put him in his place.
Newt - I'm not an astronomer but i'm pretty sure that the Earth revolves around the Sun and not you!
Y/N - The jerk store called they're running out of YOU.
Newt - Is that so? I hope they called to get your 1980's insults back too.
Y/N - I'm not saying I hate you... but if you got hit by a bus, i'd be driving that bus.
Newt - There's no buses in the glade shuck face!
Y/N - Shut the shuck up!
Newt - I'd call you an idiot but that would be an insult to stupid people.
Y/N - I'd insult you back but mother nature has already done that for me.
Alby - Newt, Y/N?! What the shuck?! I can hear you from all across the glade!
Newt - Sorry Alby Y/N was just being a slinthead and I was taking care of it.
Y/N - Excuse me? I'm the slinthead? *I huffed*
Newt - Yeah we just clearly established that less then a minute ago. What your brain can't handle it?
Y/N - Says the person with the IQ of a monkey.
Alby - That's it! You two slammer now!
Y/N - What?!
Alby - You heard me!
Me and Newt started walking towards the slammer. I can't believe we are going in there together. I'd rather be banished then spend one more minute with him.
Alby - Get in!
I went in first then Newt came in after and I heard the door shut.
Y/N - Alby you can't do this!
Alby - Yes I can, i'm the leader remember.
Y/N - A terrible one. I mumbled.
Alby - What was that? he raised his eyebrow.
Y/N - Nothing.
Alby - Good, see ya shanks in two hours.
Y/N - I can't believe I have to spend two hours with you!
Newt - Me neither! You're the one that started it!
Y/N - I did?! Nuh Huh! You started it!
Newt - Did not!
Y/N - Did too!
Y/N - This is rediculous! Why am I even fighting with you? It's not even worth it.
I went to the corner of the room and sat facing the wall. Newt came over and sat next to me.
Y/N - What do you want?!
Newt - I'm sorry ok. He mumbled.
Y/N - What?!
Newt - I said I was sorry ok! I'm sorry for bullying you, I'm sorry for teasing you, I'm sorry for all of it.
He turned away from me but I could tell he was sad and upset.
Y/N - Newt? You don't have to listen but in going to say it anyway. I'm sorry too. I only treated you like this because you did too. The truth is when I first came to the glade I really liked you alot but when you bullied me I lost hope that we would even be friends. I get that I am the only girl here and that the rest are guys which results to unfair rules and judgement but I am like everyone else. I won't bother you anymore. I'll stay out of your way. I'll exclude myself --
I was cut off when Newt placed his lips on mine sending both of us sprawled on the ground him on top of me and me below.
Y/N - Newt? What are you doing? --
Newt - Telling you how I feel about you he said between kisses.
Y/N - Huh?--
Newt - Shut up and kiss me back!
I did as he said and kissed him back as he wanted. The kiss was very passionate and slow sending chills up and down my spine everytime he touched me. He put his hands on my waist pulling me closer to him I wrapped my legs around his torso.
The kiss broke off a few minutes later and we were both breathing heavily.
Newt - Don't ever stop bothering me.
Y/N - I stared at him for a minute then I smiled. Ok, as long as you keep bothering me too.
Newt - Sure. He smirked.
He came over and gave me a hug and pulled me closer to him the warmth radiated off his body keeping me warm too.
Newt - This is so weird. He chuckled.
Y/N - Why?
Newt - Because we said we hated each other yet we kissed each other like our lives depended on it.
Y/N - Well people change... I smiled.
He smiled back and pulled me closer to him. I smiled roo and snuggled closer to him.
-- 2 hours later --
Alby - Did you shanks kill each other?!
Y/N - Nope! I was going to a few times but didn't want to get banished! I laughed.
Alby opened the door and both of us got out and we're standing in a circle.
Alby - Did you learn your lesson?
Newt - No, she's still a shuck face!
Y/N - and your still a slinthead. I winked.
Alby - Oh boy! He face palmed himself.
Alby - I'm just walking away... I'm done.
We both laughed as he walked in the other direction towards the Homestead.
Newt - Nice acting!
Y/N - You too shuck face!
He smiled and kissed me on the cheek.
Newt - I love you.
Y/N - love you too! I smiled.
